I've never seen seadragons drawn with such personality before! Absolutely love it.

Re: Abandon

Wow this is really well done. I thought it was just a cool looking bush for a minute. Nice subtle halftones too. I think I need some more practice doing those. I kinda went crazy with them this time. Good Luck!

Re: Night and Day of the Dead

My wife and I had a Day of the Dead themed wedding. The color and overall vibe felt right for this watercolor derby. Hope you all like it. It's by far the largest shirt art I've created to date.

ramyb wrote:Actually, the original version of the design had more of an aquatic look to it, but I went for something more subtle in the end. I may go back and revisit the original vision I had and resub later if I have some time Glad you like this version for now though.

Would love to see it , this one is wicked!

Re: Coming alive

Ramy, thank you so, so much for bumping up all the work you've been doing the past few months. I'm going to be honest--at this time last year, I wasn't a fan of your work, but I'm starting to really fall in love with your designs now because it looks like you are putting much more thought, time, and effort in to each of them. In a strange way, I'm kind of proud!

My respect for you has increased ten fold within the past 3 months alone.

+1 over here.

I have friends who paint DnD miniatures for a hobby, and they accidentally dip their paintbrushes in their drinks or take a sip of their paint water all the time!

Hmm, despite being a huge fan of subtle greens, I can't actually decide whether I like this one or the original version better.

Will vote for both, I guess!

Re: A break in the clouds

Thanks for the lovely comments.

I'm always ready to try something new so with this design I tried to relax and just find an aesthetic that I'd enjoy wearing, and not overthink the details.

(apart from all of the carefully measured birds of very specific, sequential wingspans - ahh, can't turn this noggin all the way off)

Re: Coming alive (2.0)

Hmmm... it's a tough call on which one I like better, but I think I like the original post more because of the simpleness. I think I like the clouds in the background more than the water and the extra color.
Still going to vote for both though. Did a good job! I love dragons! (And according to the Chinese zodiac, I am one too!)
