jacapo wrote:FYI 3 out of 5 shirts I have gotten from random woots were cat shirts. The kind of shirts a male shouldnt wear in public. If you like cats, go for it, if you don't, well I wouldnt get your hopes up.

You can always save them to give as a gift to someone more appropriate to wear it. Mom, sister, cousin, aunt, girlfriend, friend who is a girl, boy who doesn't mind cat shirts in public, child, etc.

I so dont like that one at all! Atleast I know there is interest for a possible trade if I get stuck with it.

The problem is that the link for the full shirt archive only shows the past week! However, I hadn't seen the actual homepage before and it has a place to contact the administration! I'll give them a small shout!

Another thought: People uploading new shirts over on teetrade may want to start noting which shirt brand they have (AA vs Anvil).

I'm glad these are on AA. I can't be swimming in an Anvil medium.

I love this shirt! I have one and am hoping for a spare! Recently wore it to Momocon and got a lot of compliments.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who doesn't like it. :-) Don't get me wrong, I get the joke and all, but no desire whatsoever to wear it.

Same here. I'd certainly be fine with getting it though & trade it for something I like.

So with all this AA/Anvil controversy, I think I'd rather just skip this time around. Besides, I still have a few shirts I'd like to trade beforehand. So I'm gonna get a jump on it before people start posting what they get.

I have these available shirts:

That is the Question (WL)
To the Top in the Style of Da Vinci (WL)
Poison (WL)
Family Breakfast (WL)
God Save the Princess (ML)

I am looking for either WM/WL. Hit me up if you're interested. Thanks.

Is it bad that I bought 9 randoms and an aVEGers shirt today? I'm justifying it by telling myself that there will soon be no AA blanks and my Woot purchases will come to a screeching halt.

Perhaps you have a "spouse" with a different email address and credit card. Then "they" could use that to register and "they" can get 3 additional shirts.

(Hope you catch my airquotes drift)

Unfortunately not, as I live alone and my boyfriend doesn't get home from work until well after the sale has finished...

I even went and put money in the bank, just so I could buy more!

Cause with 3 you stand a better chance of getting one you love or better yet 3 you love! Plus maybe just maybe the Woot Gods will smile down upon you and you may get a coupon too! Worth a shot right?

I really should be sleeping. Gotta get up early but I cant seem to fall asleep. Perhaps its the excitement of what random shirts I'll receive tomorrow. Or maybe it's just all that coffee I drank today.

Trouble is, I don't know his PayPal password, and can't contact him for the information until he gets home from work.

Thanks for all the answers to my "3" question. Now I get it!

I know I posted this question earlier, but I kept editing it, and now even I'm confused by it. So I'm assuming AA is American Apparel and Anvil is the shirt.woot tag. And AA is better? Which kinda sucks because I had two designs, one AA and one Anvil, and I gave away the AA one.

I'm kinda confused because although I have an Anvil tag, it says it was made in the USA.

The AA shirts used a Woot tag too.

Holy Cow! I didnt realize the kids random shirts were only $3.33!!! 30 minutes left, I almost missed it!

Thanks insomnia! I now have 3 random kids shirt heading my way now too! And for $14.99- It was a steal! ($5.00 added for shipping but still worth it based on average cost of a t-shirt I got 3 for the price of 1)

This has been a great day!

We fat people bought ours earlier and they sold out.

I suppose I should whine about Woot changing from AA to Anvil, but I DON'T WANT TO! I wore The Princess and the Menagerie yesterday, and I'm wearing The aVEGers right now. The aVEGers fits me so much better (I'm round, and short enough that shrinkage in a MXXL won't be a problem). Still wish they'd offer a WXXL.
