Hi guys, I've connected my creditcard with my paypal account to pay via paypal at woot.

Now I would buy some shirts but I this doesn't work. After I've selected a shirt I choose paypal and get redirected to paypal, where I've to accept a billing agreement. After that I jsut got redirected to woot without having less money or more shirts..

Knows anyone this issue and can help me to fix it?

This is odd. I looked into it and our system doesn't show that a PayPal account was set up. I'll try clearing it out on our end and you might want to try clearing your cache/cookies and try again.

Please email support@woot.com if you're still unable to purchase using PayPal.

Got the same problem for weeks now.

Clearing cache and/or cookies didn't work for me. Still can't buy one shirt... but have many billing agreements in my paypal-acc. Will cancel them.

Ok, so here's what I've been told. When you are redirected to PayPal from Woot, clear your cache and cookies first, then log in and try to accept the billing agreement.

I've also passed this along to our code people to see if there's anything they can do to help.

Please keep us updated if you're still unable to purchase.

I just tried doing that and it went exactly the same as before. After accepting the billing agreement, I click the button to return from PayPal and it takes me to the shirt.woot main page.

Also, unlike a previous comment, those billing agreements don't get reflected anywhere in my PayPal account.

This is just so weird. We were able to do the billing agreement on our end, so we're not sure why you're still having issues.

Hang tight for a little bit. I'm checking with our code people to see if there's something they can do to correct this.

i don't know about anyone else that is having problems, but i noticed that the initial poster mentioned using a credit card through paypal. personally i just pay with my credit card directly on the woot site, which would bypass any issues that may currently be happening with paypal.

Are You sure? They are not easy to find. I will try to explain where You can find them:

My Account -> Profile -> My Money -> My preapproved payments

EDIT: I just tried it once again. I deleted cookies and emptied cache when I was redirected from shirt.woot to paypal. When returning to shirt.woot the result was:

"An error occurred while setting up your account at PayPal. Please try again."

Oh! I had no idea about that. They are indeed piled up in there. I was looking for them under History -> Subscriptions and agreements -> Billing agreements (shouldn't they be there too?)

Could it be a problem, that I've a german paypal account?

I checked out "My preapproved payments" and found some ACTIVE entries for woot. Deleted the old ones, and only let the first stay. But could'n change anything, wich could save this problem.

Maybe that's the problem cause I'm using a german acc too. Actually this shouldn't be a problem at all - but obvioulsy it is.

It's a pity we can't solve the problem and there's no additional help from here.

Without knowing which coupon code you are trying to use, it'll be hard to say, but could be one of these things:

A) The coupon is expired
B) The coupon has already been used by you
C) You're putting the code in wrong
D) The coupon is not valid on your account. Woot sends out many coupon codes that are the same, but they have to be activated on your account for use (ie; they have to have been emailed to you from woot staff) -- There aren't many you can just look up on the internet and use.

Where did you get the code?

Spanish account here too. Tried to purchase some shirts on February with no luck. First it sends me to Paypal to accept the payment agreement, when I accept it I get redirected to the main shirt.woot! page, but no shirts get purchased nor money gets substracted

It looks like and international issue. Browser information might help too. Knowing which OS and Browser version they're dealing with helps narrow down where the problem may be.

I am from Slovakia and i have the same problem as people who write above.

I tried different browsers (Internet Explorer, Google chrome) but with no success.

Same PayPal problem here, from Hungary. Trying to enter my payment at Woot with Paypal, but when I get redirected, I only return to the shirt page with no change visible. I did find the preapproved payments in my PayPal profile, but no change I made helped.
I am using Chrome and an international PayPal account.

Thank you so much for posting the way to find "preapproved payments". I was able to delete permission for billers I was totally unaware of!

As for continued error messages.....

In the preapproved payments section of PayPal you can click on the name of the biller and set funding sources. PayPal will always take from your available funds first. I did not have a source for back-up funds selected for Woot purchases.

I've been having problems for months when trying to use PayPal for purchases from any Woot sites. I'm hoping now that it'll work.

If you are still having problems, first make sure your PayPal account is backed with a credit card. This is required for our purchases.

If that is ok, then email service@woot.com with as much information as you can give them. What happens, messages/errors, browser, country, etc.

Hey! I managed to place an order with an international PayPal account. The solution was the one mentioned here: had to back up my PP account with my credit card. Thanks a lot for the info!

I have debit card associated with paypal, paid at hundreds of sites, even subscriptions, but not woot. So is the issue caused by associating debit card and not credit card?

EDIT i checked paypal card settings and sees card as "Credit Card" in card section, although in billing agreement it says "Backup Funding Source Visa Debit Card " \:

I tried paying by entering card info and got Denied! Then i bought something for roughly same price as shirt on other site with this same card and it worked.
