This is a very cool design. I want to start designing myself but I see the rules say no gradients. Does this not count as a gradiant?

In my opinion, your shirt is the best one in the derby. I'm not usually into cream shirts, but your design is the one shirt in this derby that I would 100% buy if it prints.

Incredible design.

Don't be so condescending. If you don't like the design, that's alright, but you don't have to be disrespectful to ramy or patrick, or any other designer for that matter. Simply don't vote for the design.

As for me, I'm not particularly a bunny person, but this design still heavily appeals to me for its take on the urban landscape taking over the natural habitat of so many animals. It doesn't matter what animal was in the design, but the fact that it was an animal that painted the picture of what is now just a memory.

...and FYI, there are plenty of rabbits roaming around not only in Chicago, but also around the suburban area surrounding it.

Re: Trade Winds

This is absolutely gorgeous. Not only is the artwork beautiful in its simplicity, I love it on the green shirt! I have entirely too many asphalt, navy and black woot t-shirts already. Green would make a very refreshing change. I really really hope it places!

Also, I think the kite is perfect - both placement and symbology.

Re: Only Memories

This is stunning. I keep coming back to look at it. I'm very taken with your artwork in general, but this design is a definite standout.

I haven't felt anything really grab me in the last few derbies, and then this round there are two designs I desperately want to print! Gotta badger my voting-capable mates to come take a look! Really hope this does well - best of luck.

I am very sorry to hear that. Please go back to that design's thread and read my explanation. I didn't mean to offend anyone...

Re: Open Sky, Open Heart

though this is pretty the reflection in the water -should be more water or something in the 1st place i think- doesn't match anything in the sky, and the yellowish color on the upper clouds seem out of place, unnatural while the yellow part on the lower part of the sky is underwhelming. mountains, sky and the rest of the black areas...the coloring overall is not well placed. very odd lol.

also agree with coolg33k about the black being stronger than the sunset. to me it FEELS more of an enclosed space and not open. unfortunately it doesnt execute as well on a tshirt than the picture itself either

my 2 cents. good luck

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Who cares, on a t-shirt a rabbit is a rabbit (unless their supposed to be different like a jackrabbit, which this one is obviously not). I spent two months in Illinois visiting my Grandmother and you couldn't go outside for five minutes without seeing at least one, even in her back yard. To me it sounds like you have something against Patrick and just want to put down on his work. Well I think you should go jump in a lake, if you hate the shirt so much shut your trap and don't buy the shirt when it goes out to sell ( and yes I am perfectly confident that its going to sell). Stop giving out bad vibes.

Re: Rails to Trails

I like the design, but think it might be a problem since it implies the Sierra Club is endorsing the Rails To Trails organization, rather than a design promoting SC or Earth Day.

tessellatedge wrote:Great color choices on your design! I appreciate the dynamics of the composition and the color.

I would like to see the pink of the reflection and the sail boat blend a little more with the white of the water just so they would be a little more convincing. The white of the water fights a little bit with the mountains for focality (unless this was your intent?)

On a whole, really cool!

Thanks a lot, the white is supposed to be fog on the water and clouds on the mountains,-))) yes it was intended ;-))

Re: Resting Campfire

I always thought it would be a cool idea to make a picture out of the mirrored reflection of stars on the water. The moon on the water was hard for me to construct with a "campfire" look, but I hope it did the job.

Hope you like it!
