The name Open Sky, Open Heart is a play on the inspiration - Lake Coeur 'd Alene - it means "Heart of the Awl".

the thumbnail looks better than the image on the shirt for some reason... its like the thumbnail is brighter and the full image of the shirt is washed out. i like the thumbnail better.

Wow. I love how you somehow made this look hand painted. Plus I like the way you make the plants have a rough-hewn look to them. Pretty sweet.

Hello. This is Chancho McGee. One time I spent 7 years sitting at Delicate Arch waiting for a cowboy-shaped cloud to float by and top off this torso-less arch formation. It was worth it as you can now see.

We may be saying goodbye to my first woot print next Monday but I also wanted to let everyone know I've made a decision to reckon my entire personal site www.collinvh.com. The closing of the site will coincide with the next day of reckoning, Monday April 16. This could be a real sad day for me so come on and save those kitties.

I find this to be incredibly evocative. The beautifully melancholic image--with the title to give it the final punch--is quite moving. Very well thought out and executed.
Definitely have my vote. I'd love to have it as a poster or "pocket picture card" though!
