This question is for woot or anyone who can answer:
What are the restrictions on giving out larger images of a design for backgrounds?
I've had a few people ask me in the past and I've turned them down, but is it allowed? At what point would sharing an image land me in trouble?

I'd be surprised if Woot had any objection to this. Artists retain the right to display their own work, if that image happens to be wallpaper friendly then that's probably okay so long as you're not selling phone/tablet backgrounds.

I guess the only problem would be that it's easier for people to rip-off the design, but that seems to happen regardless.

hey inky...have you found anything out about this yet? I'd love to have some woot designs as my computer wallpaper.

I'll see if anyone yells at me...

But I teach a highschool A+ and Web Design class. We use an "online" classroom known as Moodle where my students can access files, take test, etc. Very similar to BlackBoard if you've used it before in college.

On the home page, I always post some type of nerdy picture. Some of them are Woot! shirts that I've saved the picture of.

Don't worry! I have converted nearly all of them to regular wooters and we all F5 during woot-offs!
