I definitely used creative license, but I thought of it as two different baryons next to each other. Compositionally, it worked best like this. dsb exists, I'm not sure about uct though.
Re: space targeting
I like the way this looks, but I don't know if woot can print this.
Re: Where I Belong
A tree and space!? gmv for sure!!
Re: The n-Body Problem
Thank you for including PLUTO!
Re: Major Tom
What I love about this entry is that it stands on its own. You don't have to explain the theme and you don't have to know anything about Major Tom or space travel. The only question you are likely to get is "Where can I get one just like that?" Oh yeah, someone will want to know when the next shuttle will fly, but just tell them to write to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave to get the answer.
Re: Cosmic Chicken
If this doesn't print, I hope you subit it elsewhere, because this is a MUST HAVE!
shapelessclay wrote:It baffles me as to why so many people like this. A red design on a red background makes it difficult to distinguish from the shirt itself.
I'm also surprised how quickly this climbed to the top. I like the design but I don't think it would be in the fog if it wasn't ramyb's. I need to find myself some support like that... lol
Re: Rockstar
Rock on! Rock Star.
Art and space, we salute you. +1
Re: The cow had some help...
Yes, he most certainly did. I love space cows, they have the greatest sense of humor.
Re: Revenge of the Chili Pepper
I'm a little later on this entry than I'd like to be, but I've had a real busy weekend. Plus there were so many ideas to do for this, that it was hard to narrow it down. I guess going to eat out at hot wing places gave me the idea for this one, and I'm sure many of you have felt this incinerating star come out of you too. Enjoy!
Re: fly me to the moon
Clever. I like it!
Re: Astronomical Alchemy
Is it bad that I like this shirt because when I see the planetary symbol I always think of SailorMoon?

Oh, that's just Walmazan. He can be a really cheeky fellow like that. ;)

orabbit wrote:5. I did it in Illustrator. The shadows and highlights are percentages of the main colors. There would be a white underbase under the quarks.
Love it, but the problem with percentages in silkscreen is that it can't be done without bitmapping the original color, allowing the shirt color to come through. At least that's my experience with silkscreen. I'm afraid that the additional 3 colors is going to get you rejected. I do like the concept and execution. I would much prefer these adorable faces over the cosmic swirly crud that seems to be dominating this derby. Sorry...thought you should know.

Would LOVE to know if I'm wrong...
