Beautiful art. But I don't know if I can pull the trigger on an Anvil shirt yet. If it was an AA it would be a no brainer....

This is so awesomely done. I feel like this shirt deserves narration from either Carl Sagan or Morgan Freeman.

"There are billions and billions of stars in the cosmos..."

It is weird that Earth is the 4th planet from the sun... also note that there appears to be only 8 planets. So long Pluto!

Hmmm, sort of a low vote total for this derby and the one before. This is a nice surprise for first. Good job Paxdomino.

Having a reunion today with those who attended tweetup during the launch for STS-135 last year (at Space Camp). Awesome! This may be my first woot shirt! (Edit: I ordered 1 each for me, my husband, and my daughter. That's the max you can order and you don't carry onesies for the littlest one.)

On a side note, how does Woot know this stuff? It always seems to offer what I need just when I need it. Maybe those security cams that I bought a year or so ago from Woot aren't so "secure". Time to get out the aluminum foil. My daughter is pretty good at fashioning hats out of that stuff. Of course woot already knows that.

So from zombie Carl Sagan? I don't understand how he could narrate.

The write-up references Grand Moff Tarkin and his Tarkin Doctrine, for those who were wondering.

I'll order 2 if they're all cotton. 3 if they're made from hemp. Anyone?

This is the first space-related shirt I'm going to skip from woot. I like it, but it just seems far too busy for someone to look at and appreciate at a glance. I like simplicity in my shirts. I'm hoping some of the simpler designs from the derby show up.

Yes, yes, everyone loves Star Wars. Why does no one see the plot hidden in the galactic dust?. The artist is clearly in the pocket of Barry Sonnenfeld. Men in Black 3 here we come!.

Indeed. It's a neat design, but so much half-toning just doesn't look that great up close unless it's really made to be a part of the design.

If you click on the Sizing Chart link near the bottom of the main page, you'll see the fiber content listed... 4.5oz 100% Combed Ringspun Cotton.

Almost bought to wear at my astronomy club meeting, but the planet colors/patterns are way off. Saturn is grey/silver, really? What planet (in yellow) is in the foreground? The outer-planets are blue and green respectively. Has the artist ever looked through a telescope before? Otherwise a really nice design.

I like the design, but mostly I'm just glad there aren't any numbers written out on it. Yesterday's shirt got way more flak than it deserved from the grammar I wanted you guys to know I'm ignorants.

That's what I thought at first too until I realized I could be making assumptions. First assumption is that this is our own solar system. Second assumption is that they are all planets. What if the artist included Ceres (a minor planet)? Ceres does orbit between Mars and Jupiter so this is possible.

Those of us not ready to say goodbye could argue that this is the solar system as viewed from Pluto.

Also, if you follow the line that goes through Earth, it cuts in front of Mars.

Also also, Fantastic design! Well done, paxdomino.

Yes, an assumption made on my behalf, and undoubtedly would be made when worn to an astronomy club full of detailed sky-geeks. I just wouldn't want to have to explain that it may-or-may-not be "our" solar system...too much work.
