Grumble, grumble. I got up at 7 a.m., had breakfast etc.,went to town, only about 4 miles away, to have a lesson at 9 a.m. When I got there the student said, "Oh sorry, I have a client(she has a nail studio), can we have the lesson on Friday?" I said sure, smiled and said next time can you call me before I leave the house? Good thing she has been my student for a while and she is an attractive lady. Call me sexist but I always enjoy having attractive female students.
Now after a little computer time I will change my clothes, go paint over the welds on the front gate and take some photos to post. Then I need to stain/seal about 35 pieces of wood for the pickets. Painting is far less physical labor than heaving around big pieces of steel.
My dogs like me, that is important.

See if this helps you figure out the compatibility mode stuff.
If not, holler back and I may get you to send me some screen shots.
Thanks, I have to check it out tonight.

Good afternoon ladies and gents. I have made a few photos of my gate which probably are much cearer than my description. I just loaded the phots from the memory card so please be careful and handle them by the edges, the electrons might still be wet. Driveway Gate
Now all I have to do is paint the metal yellow like the rest of the fence and stain/seal the pickets and put them on. I'll be happy when this is all done!

Thanks Gman. With all my modesty I must say we have about the nicest house in our little neighborhood. Our neighbor across the street has the best garden though. They both have green thumbs and work on it constantly. Very nice people too. Theirs is the house you can see in the picture of the back of the gate.

Edit: Ed your gate and fence are beautiful! We have a lab and she loves everybody too. She is 12, has cataracts and can't see very well at all, especially close up. On our walk a couple of days ago she scarfed up a duck egg that hubby and I didn't even see.
Hi, glad you like the fence, thanks. If your Lab is anything like mine, she has a very sensitive nose. I swear the older boy can smell cat s**t from 100 feet away. We have a few wild cats around and they leave Stanley's most favorite snack in the world! He will sniff the air, start quartering and then nose to the ground he will home in on it and eat it if I am not quick enough to stop him. That dog can smell anything from a long way off. I can only imagine what his view of the world is with a nose like that.

I have about 15 pair due to living where I do. Altho the new site is busy, I can get where I need to go, so it is OK with me.
Everything is more OK with sunglasses.

Your house and everything look amazing, but all I can think of when I see the photos is the heat of the sun roasting me alive.
Still single, can't imagine why.

Good evening all. I am tired! I finished painting the gate and added a couple of pieces so the parts connect when it is closed. Then I went in to the kitchen made macaroni with spinach Parmesan cream sauce, a nice salad with lettuce, ruccola, tomatoes and olives and ate that and then went out again and painted the wood pickets. It is supposed to rain a few days and I wanted to get as much done as I could. Now as soon as I have time and it isn't raining I can attach the pickets to the gate and I will be done. Saturday we are having a party with about 40 people to eat the big salmon I caught last month. We we're hoping to have the party on the deck but if it rains everyone will be inside. It won't be the first time we have had a crowd in the house. Either way with the weather, I am going to grill the salmon with a teriyaki marinade. I will probably make some salmon sushi (sake in Japanese) too.
