Haven't had any work in a week and I'm getting bored. Going to the church festival tonight to gamble away our donation.

Sounds good.

I know the ups truck comes at night, but I've been here all day because I have to sign for something.

I have a very long list of stuff I need to do, but no motivation to do anything. I'm stuck on my writing, don't have enough energy to start organizing (although I might enlist some not napping children) and just in general want to be lazy.

I took a shower! I took a walk! Well 1/2 a walk, Rusty put on the breaks when we got to the part that would be another half a mile.

I'm going to eat!

I spent too many days waiting for stuff this week.

Greetings all. I'm not caught up but I'll try to after I get caught up on all the sites.

I have a fibrous blob floating in the gooey goop in my eyeball and it's casting a shadow on my retina. I can see in my peripheral vision of my right eye. Extremely annoying when working on the computer. Doc says it will slowly float to the bottom and out of my vision but it could take weeks or months. Apparently, smacking my head and jumping up/down will not speed up this process.

He couldn't say. I haven't been bonkeed in the head or anything. I guess it's just one of those things that happen sometimes.

Floater? Hope it floats quickly. I had some after I had cataract surgery. Either I got used to them or they floated away. These were not big enough to really restrict my vision just annoying.

I feel your pain.

I had what looked like an oil slick for a long time.
it would move back and forth on the bottom half of the vision, like a windshield wiper.

It was as annoying as all hell.

It was more annoying than losing the vision in that eye.

Learn something new every day. I complained to son that I wasn't happy with the new ceiling fan in the kitchen because even on high it wasn't as fast as medium on the other fans. He told me that when you have a wall control, you basically have nine speeds. Pull the chain on the fan to high, then use the wall switch for low, medium, high. I'm much happier.

No. The wall control is off/low/med/high and the light. Like a remote control. I wish I had it on all the fans.

We have dimmers on lots of the lights. Most of the new light bulbs don't work with them.

I've had brain fog for 2 or 3 weeks now.
Son has it too.
I've actually be able to sleep hours every day.

Took one of those 5 hour energy things. Might be working.
I should get something done.

Should

For about 2 years.
Flashing lights, no vision.

Wasn't a torn retina.

Went to this young, arrogant Harvard grad retina guy.
He never said the vision wouldn't come back, he was that sure of himself.

Had all sorts of eye drops for a year or so. The drops made the cataract the eye already had grow huge.
None of them were suppose to be taken more than a few weeks. Not months on end.

Got the vision back, but the cataract made it only peripheral.

Got the cataract taken out and it had stuck to the back of the eye, so I couldn't see much better.

6 months later the remains were lazered out and that caused the black oil like thing. That blocked bit of vision was way more annoying than being blind in the eye!

It faded over the years. Shows up as a shadow every once in awhile.

You knew this, it wasn't that long before I started on woot. We talked about it before when TT had some eye thing.

Kids took me to the early matinee for Brave. Why is it Pixar movies are the only ones that can make me cry? I think the animation has me let my guard down or something. It was a good movie. Saw it in 2D. A bit scary for Ver2 and Ver3 didn't exactly watch all of it, but there were only 2 other groups in the theater and if they didn't want kids to watch it with them, they shouldn't have come to a Saturday matinee to a kids movie.
