The problem wasn't that this guy was legally allowed to buy military type weapons.
The problem is everyone else didn't have them too.

Everyone should be able to have a gun to protect themselves or hunt if they want to.
Those are not the type of guns this guy had.

I can agree to a point. If you can't hit what you're aiming at with five or six rounds you really have no business owning a gun anyway.Unfortunately restrictions on the type of weapons or magazine capacity someone can own only applies to law abiding people. It doesn't work. I know this because I came from a place that has very strict gun laws.

Only if your gift isn't liked. It's gotta be awesome if a rival's gift isn't liked.

Baby showers can be a little boring. "Ohhhhh, isn't that cute!" Because, frankly, most of the women there have no desire to be getting those gifts. Bridal showers are somewhat better. "Would really love a new set of towels."

It is 2:15.

I should be dressed.

ugh

There is a free concert tonight at the town football field.
Hubby suddenly wants to go.
I went alone last year and I don't want to go this year.
Beatles cover band.
I wonder why it is the same band every year? There is a good Billy Joel cover band that the town can get. Other towns use it for their free concert. Mix it up.

The problem is
1. This would be the 3rd or 4th time seeing the same show.
2. Rusty can't go.
3. They don't do much of the later stuff. It is mostly early Beatles stuff, not the drug induced stuff. Trying to keep the really old folks happy.

The town has hired two different bands over the years. Both did Beatlemania on Broadway, but on is better than the other.

Oh what the heck, it is only a mile away. If the weather is good, we will go.

Opinion needed. There's a couple that used to be close friends. Not as much anymore, their choice. Her mother died. Ordinarily we absolutely would have gone to visitation, but the obit says, "services" at 1:00. Do you think we should go to the services?

Services? I wonder what that is.
You can go for a shorter time. Especially if you knew the mother.

Damn dog.
Left him out of the crate when we went for dinner.
Came home and found the garbage spread throughout 3 rooms. All food products....gone.
Cat looked suspiciously happy and full too.

I only throw one latch just until it closes on the crate. Any one can break out of it, but Rusty never does.
Leave him out and about once a year, he destroys the garbage or eats a box of woot crap.
Yes, the box and the crap inside. That was the first one, when he was new.

Vet said, as he treated rusty for biting into a battery, "they lure you into complacency and then they make their move.
Yep.
Once ever 10 to 12 months he destroys something.
I guess I'm now good for a year.

Except for the poop runs he will have for the next week for everything he ate out of the garbage tonight.

Guess we're having company this week. Mrs. Ice's cousin's boy from Kansas is staying with us for a few days while attending a conference. The house is a disaster. I don't mind company, I just prefer more than 36 hours notice.
