My sister actually understands that, she's getting her Masters in Speech Pathology Saturday. Also, thank you for the numbers, it's something to think on.

We have a second board game shirt on the move. I'd like to see all three climb out of the danger zone, but that may be asking too much.

The DSR to get out of the Danger Zone is sitting just under 20 Shirts per day. Death is doing just over 19 per day, so there's a Chance he might make it, but if he does it's going to be late Sunday.

Last week, I actually contemplated being last Wooter again. For a shirt that features a creature I don't own. Designed by an artist that I ... ummm, tolerate. Printed on a shirt blank that I dislike.

Good thing I didn't have any coins handy! ^_^

To say the least, the recent reprint is beyond disappointing. And now that olive blanks have switched over, the remaining hope for a bit of redemption (for one shirt to be reprinted) is pretty much dashed too.

The support and the praise from the community is the sole reason why I'm still putting in the time to do the numbers.

It's been a bit over a year since I started documenting them, and over time, refined it to something easily usable. Some aspects have since been disproven, some revealed. In any case, having quantifiable stats means that we're not left in the dark as to why there's a sudden rise in ranks by a padawan on Sunday night or why a veteran shirt falls from 4th to 24th in a week.

In all honesty, it is just a matter of time before "it's not worth it" anymore. In the meantime, don't be too alarmed if nightly updates are missed here or there ...

The only other time I have seen a reckoned shirt appear in randoms was with questionable table of elements. So far there have been 2 shirts, how many more will make it into random bags?

On the upside at least I know I won't get a turbungiun in my pack.

Also, I think I've seen Woot slip a top seller in the randoms before (portal mouse, maybe?). It's one of the quirky feel good things they do some times.

How was I supposed to know it was a scam?! They flashed some official looking paperwork and said their manager instructed them to dump them for rock bottom prices. Seemed legit!

I have had this aching feeling lately that this is the end of the line for me. It was brought on the realization that this will be the last AA random day, and further validated by the fact that they put AA shirts still in The Reckoning in the random packs.

I feel that Woot's strategy went from "let's give the complaining regulars free Anvil samples so they will praise them on the forums and all will be right" to "okay, they still hated the blanks, so we'll alienate them in every way possible so they'll stop scaring off new customers and leave."

It's working too. I don't know whether to be frustrated or just be like "well played, Woot. Well played."

Given the proportion of shirts that have debuted on Anvil over the past few weeks, there are a surprising number of shirts printing on AA in the Reckoning.

I considered this during the random sale as I wondered about the switch overs. It was highly unlikely they would wait until they were completely out of AA before changing to Anvil. Well if they had a lick of sense, that is.

I wouldn't mind getting Family Breakfast as mine was stolen (I am such a sucker for the original trilogy). But I can't rebuy it, though I can still replace my WL with a WL, because I have issues, lots and lots of issues due to too much reading of woot history.

I am guessing though that it will only be AAs where the switch for that size is now Anvil, and alas women still get AA for Family Breakfast. So the likelyhood of such a decision being taken oput of my hands. Maybe the next round of randoms (there will still be AAs if they are still reckoning AAs now).

The super issue is really simple: Sizing is different.

I don't think Woot wanted to do an AA only Random sale, but they can't very well ask you to just pick a size and zap you a shirt when there's a 50/50 chance you can't wear the size they sent. I was really expecting to see "Mens M/L/XL/2XL/3XL , Women's AA M/L/XL/2XL, Women's Anvil M/L/XL/2XL" on the size chart. The part of me that believes in unicorns and a functional 2-part democratic system was also hoping to see that change made PERMENANT. For the rest of us it sucks that only Women's come in AA, and it would be a minor blow to full profitability to open the spread like that, but it would cure 90% of the whining about sizing I think.

They've actually been going that way for while, there are 2 or 3 threads devoted to "this isn't the size I ordered!!!!"

I started agrigating sales data to look at it by shirts per week, rather than sales per design per day, and the numbers are a little staggering. They really don't need to care about 1 person, or even 1000 people who only buy 1 a week.

Got an M2XL Artichokey in my AA Randoms. Sizing Chart still showing Mens as available in AA. Guess the shirt hasn't been as popular with the Guys.

I received a Goodjoe shirt today that had the same "printed in the USA" claim. No information about shirt origin, however. It's larger than AA - and actually very similar in cut and shape to two woot shirts I recently received that are labeled "made in the USA" but are also larger than the usual AA shirts.

Same thing just happened to me. I got three shirts from them, two had AA labels, but one was a "tagless" shirt with "Printed in the USA" printed inside the back. I haven't tried it on, but I wasn't happy to know it may not be the same shirt as the others.
