LOL.... I am referring to the quote by John Glenn. During his orbit he saw these beautiful glowing things and stated that his aircraft looked like it was surrounded by fireflies.

It was ice crystals (and possibly his own pee) and the glowing was the sun's reflection. So when I hear or see astronaut and fireflies, that quote is what I think of...I might be a bit twisted in the mind though.....
