Yeah, meeting must have let out just as I was posting.

bounty42 wrote:Actually for the 20 I flagged as off topic, 3 remain and 2 of those were questionable (I thought they were off topic, but I can see why the Rejectionator didn't). People are getting more proactive about removing rejected Entries I think.

Yeah, and without the awesome shirtwhat keeping score anymore, they are lost to the ether, only to return someday in a derby yet to be named...or a daily.

I actually refreshed and found 3 more rejected!

I'm just happy that we can pretty much call the top 20 leaning twards topic, something I don't think we've been able to do for a while.

I think I prefer this thread in WoWS where it used to land.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. But I'm a crazy random internet person, so I figured it'd always been here, and I just never realized it.

To me, trompe-l'oeil means things that trick the eye because it could be real and looks so real. The examples Woot links to, the painting uses part of itself to trick you (a fake frame). The other has what could plausibly be an actual window on a real wall, and then the chalk drawings incorporate the street in fooling the eye with things that could happen to a street: puddle, sinkhole, giant crack.

So while I think "Instant Hero" above fits perfectly, cfdunbar's "The Plunge" would need to make it look like the shirt was actually getting wet for it to fit.

Trick me into thinking something is really on your shirt or happening to your shirt, not that you have a cool 3D design printed on a t-shirt.

Just my opinion, I could be totally wrong.

I think you have it right.

Is anyone else having trouble submitting entries for this derby? I have two all set to go, but every time I try to submit it through the derby page it tells me "oops, something went wrong and we didn't receive your submission." I tried yesterday and today, from different computers, different files. Same results. Could this be a beta error?

I did two entries for this week, after trying several times I had to use a totally different computer to submit the first. Then I went to submit the second and I kept getting an error message, even when I tried a laptop and my work computer it still didn't work.
