Isn't Bradbury technically pop culture? Maybe non pop culture but Bradbury....

Can it be? Has The Binge been outsold?? Why is it no longer in the Hamper of Fame?
What's that powder clinging to your credit card? Oh wait, this is capitalism.

Nope, in a quest to fix the numbers, they broke the Top Seller by Numbers. NARF!
loridi wrote:BTW what are the numbers at the start of the comments? It says Woots Sold: 2209 on Thanks For All The Fish and bragging rights says sold 4,297 shirts.
That's actually the question De jour. I Think we're seeing "orders" vs. "Units". No one's quite sure why it happens, but every shirt does it (drop by about half) every night around 12:15.

Just point me to the answer if its already been asked and explained. I'vr been rather busy this week with a store site launch myself (I'm the developer, not the store owner).
Traditionally Nobs that don't have 4 weeks in them (most) but get past week one (half) jump out after noon Friday to cruise the low teens (17+). Remember that the forumala Woot is using is "this is all the Sales until Monday". For late week shirts, now to monday is 50% of the window, whereas 4-week shirts now to Monday is only 5%. as both of those numbers approach 0, Nobs move faster.
Narfcake wrote:Indeed I was. Not doing too well of a job complaining, though, was I? ^_^
The number issues that loridi mentioned is among the reasons of the complaints ... and why I can't post baselines or nightly numbers.
Maybe it's time to do some other projects? Analysis of sales for the last quarter based on color perhaps?

Weather bug on my phone reports 74 and mostly sunny. I think it lies.

j5 wrote:Interesting. So the high number is units set to print vs. the lower number being actual orders. It makes sense, and also indicates that the "how many to print" function is fully automated and tied to the site. That would be cool.
No, I mean I order 2, you order 2, Narf orders 3, Mavyn orders 1. The ORDERS is 4, the UNITS is 8.

I only checked for a week (where the assumption held) and just deleted the addon when we had thunderstorms with Twarnings, it said it was sunny.
No clue. SO uses accuweather, and we're about 50/50 in terms of who is right. The past week, forecasts for 24+ hours our have pretty much changed on the hour.

Since I am in San Francisco where if you don't like the weather just walk a few blocks, I don't care that much how accurate the weather report is.
But being one of Narf'sNumberNerds, CPA division, I NEED accurate Shirt Woot numbers!!!!!
What we really need is a rational explination for why most of the number nerds are in California.

94% bought 1, 5% 2 and 1% 3
We would need an average purchase of 2 shirts.
As I said before, I need a drink
A missing number cruncher suggested that you enjoy some warm milk. I would suggest Dulce de Leche a la Guys and Dolls.
