I almost bought it but then I realized there is no reference for Marvin. 42 cannot be achieved without Marvin.

The misleading writeup is duly noted. But I'm guessing this is a Hitchhiker's Guide reference?

Although I like a good nod to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I wish this was a Ray Bradbury tribute instead because of his passing the other day.

For those of you unaware, this is an expertly done shirt with references to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, in which the answer to Love, Life, and the Universe is 42.

Woot, you really need to either stop figuring out things that I like, or help me raise funds to buy a vast quantity of your shirts.

Is there a petunia? In a bowl?* Not sure I see one. Suitably grim for the occasion of leaving a planet about to be plowed out of the way, I suppose.

*Edit: have looked closely and thinking maybe, at the top of the 2.

If the shirt was blue, it could not only be a Hitchhiker's reference, but a football reference as well.

It is actually just "Life, The Universe and Everything"...I cannot ever remember there being an answer for love...that is way too hard even for Deep Thought.

Seems to be comprised almost entirely of movie references, which is sad. I'd have liked to see more book references. Unless the movie captured way, way more of the book than I'm remembering...

For essentially Black and White (monotone) Shirt designs, would it be at all possibly to offer them in different base colors?

There is something about Black shirts that just bugs me and I would have loved to have seen this in Blue or Grey or almost any other color really.

It seems close to the style, spacing and elements used to this recently featured woot shirt. I'm not saying it was copied but similar in style.

This shirt would have been an insta-buy, admittedly I am still probably going to get it out of sheer love for the book. But I can't stand the feel of those blanks. Honduras? Might as well be Belgium. BELGIUM!

In for one. This will be my first woot shirt since they switched blank providers.

As for the movie, I've seen both the old 70s one and the Mos Def version. Neither referenced anything that I didn't remember from the book (though both left things out).

I've probably read the first book a dozen times. The whole series half that, and I've listened to the audio book on long drives from Florida to NJ dozens of times.

I feel awful for Louisiana, Arkansas, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Tennessee, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

It's been up for almost an hour and no sales from those states.

Clearly they lack culture.

We should start a charity to send them Douglas Adams' books.

We can get get Sally Struthers or some kind of celeb spokesperson.
