tobefonesca - I think you will enjoy this:
bassanimation wrote:I love your kitties, Ochopika! My only small problem here is that the book's title is hard to read.
aaa! I know you're right about that. I think I may fix it so it is more legible.
Re: Still Missing.
I salute you for remembering Waldo.
Re: Mind Control
I like it, but it doesn't quite speak "lost in book" to me. I suppose it's because I don't get the reference.
Re: Swept Away
This is beautiful artwork. I don't like designs this big but I cn see this framed on the walls of a library or bookstore.

Read "Harrison Bergeron" and it will make sense. It's a quick read but you will get lost in it.
Re: Slow Reader
Hope you enjoy my design this week. Please vote.
ste7enl wrote:People find ways to get mario and star wars into every derby, but at least this one is really well done. Good job.
The artwork is very well done but I don't think of how-to books when I think of getting "lost in a book". Or, how reading a book on plumbing makes one imagine any of the Mario video games. Sure he's a plumber but that's about it.
Re: Scary Story (resub!)
"...he was alive and dead at the saaame time...ooOOOOOooo!"
Re-sub with better text, please vote again!
Re: Chapter 5.1: Pixies Garden
This is another version of my previous design. Hope You like it better!
Re: Italian Night
Like the other Mario entry the artwork on this is really good. However, I don't understand the connection between the derby theme and a video game. I suppose some people get lost in cookbooks but this doesn't work for me.
Re: Chapter 5: The Hatching
Beautiful, but it kinda looks like he's reading an iPad.
Re: Lost in a Good Book
You really nailed the theme.
Re: Cthulhu Can't Sleep
Re: Let's get lost... together.
But will society allow their love?
Re: Let the Party Begin!
I like it, but I think it would do better on a different t-shirt colour.
Thanks everyone for all the love! Here you can take a look at the design Close-up
Re: The Pen Is Mightier
I first realized this when I got my parents to rent Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the age of 8 or 9. The book was amazing (at least that's how I remember it), so I couldn't understand why Moby Van Dyke was jumping around and singing like that. Some truths are learned early.

I didn't know Moby was short for Richard. Thanks Woot filter!
This shirt must be made! As a Lovecraft fan married to a Bronte fanatic I require this shirt!
this is a jaw-dropper.
Re: An Unexpected Journey
Sorry, close-up in this link
One of my all time favorite movies! Probably the only time I liked the movie better than the book, but then again, it isn't like the movie was based off the book, since they were written at the same time.

I told you that you were fog-bound!
I love the design, just not the shirt color...
stingray69 wrote:Beautiful, but it kinda looks like he's reading an iPad.
Thanks! You can read books on iPads ;)
Re: Little Red Fighting Hood
Walmazan really needs to be an art directer for some sort of animated series! Too good, my friend... too good!
Re: The Lost Library
A funny thing happened while I was drawing this on my laptop - the power went out and I had no battery life. Where did I go to get power and finish the design? The library, oh yeah.
There are books that will absorb, which became part of you. Even with those who share the daily tasks. Be careful with that book you get caught ...
I hope you like it ;)
I hope you all like this Hunger Games inspired design of mine
Re: The Hunger Games: Jabberjay Courier Service
I really like the way the robot is reaching for the boy's book with that "uh-oh" expression on his face. Well done, very cool!
Re: Vengeance is Coming!
This is hilarious!
Re: Scary Stories
I love it! Only thing missing is a red fish, blue fish.
Re: Her Dark Obsession
I haven't seen this style from you before. Nice!
Re: Inner world
Yes, please resubmit. Maybe light blue? This shirt tickles my fancy.
Is this on cranberry?
Re: Igniting Imagination
Behold the knight, brave and true, as he battles a fearsome foe! Books take us to unimaginable places and let us do unimaginable things! And...PUPPY!!!
Here's the big version!
omarfeliciano wrote:Thanks! You can read books on iPads ;)
Good point. Either way it looks great on a shirt.
Re: An Inevitable Fate (No words version)
I love this version! I would definitely buy this.
