Some people have admitted to voting for shirts just because they are still printing on AA. Silly reasoning/unfair to people with possibly better designs (not meaning this design, which is cute, but just in general)? Sure. Also, completely illogical. Why don't they just go buy AA blanks for half the price? Oh right. They're making a 'statement.'

Regardless, I think this concept is funny, since I am pretty sure this is what my orange cat would do if he could read.

Love the image, just would personally want it to be a little bigger on the shirt so it's easier to see the nuances.

The actual quote ends with "...must be intolerably stupid" in place of "...must be a freakin' Jab-jab-jab-Jabberjaw." Personally, I like the paraphrased version better.

Does anybody have a http://shirt.woot.com/offers/cloak-of-visibility-lightweight-hoodie and/or http://shirt.woot.com/offers/who-needs-gravity-zip-up-hoodie in MXL that they don't want and/or need to sell? I would LOVE to buy it from you! I am currently offering $40+S&H for either one new, and $20-30+S&H for either one used! Please contact me ASAP, thanks!

This is such a wonderful take on the red-riding-hood-is-a-badass theme. That swish of red against the wolf silhouette really makes it. Great stuff!

Thanks Re: the size of the image on the shirt, the comp is mainly for placement and not really for sizing. Woot always decides how big to print any given design, and it really has very little to do with how it is represented in the comp, especially because the size of the print on the shirt has a lot to do with which size you buy. For a design like this, they would probably do something like 10.5in wide for men's sizes, 9 in wide for women's and kids, if you wanted a rough estimate of how big it would be on the shirt.

The button says, "I'd Want One." When I click the button that says, "I'd Want One," it means that I'd want one - and that means it's a color that's likely to print on AA in women's sizes. I don't go around making a big deal out of the fact that my Derby votes are in accordance with the "I'd Want One" request of Derby voting, but I think it's utterly absurd to say that it's "silly reasoning" to vote for a shirt because one would buy it; I don't vote "I'd Want One" unless I'm willing to follow through and put my money where my vote is. What I think is silly - IMHO - is clicking "I'd Want One" when one would never actually want one.

But my job emphasizes the importance of communication and sender/receiver being on the same page, so perhaps I am "silly" to interpret woot's desire to know which shirts they should print based on an intention to make money by selling shirts as a desire to know which shirts they should print in order to make money by selling shirts.

Yes this is in Cranberry, I added some shadows/creases etc to make the mini T-shirt look 'real' - I could easily do it in other colour combos though, simple enough to do - the hard part is getting votes, lol! :D

Re: Dedication

Slightly mixed feelings: I really, really love this design; I'd absolutely buy it and I'd wear it with glee. However, it doesn't seem to fit the theme of this Derby... So you get my vote, Colin, and I'll buy it if it prints, but you also get a tiny slap on the wrist via comment.

Re: Oh The Places You'll Go

This is treading nigh close to violating copyright: I don't see any parody of Geisel's work or characters, especially given the shirt's title. Geisel himself fiercely protected his copyrights in order to limit his characters and their worlds to his books; his widow has taken the opposite tact, fiercely protecting the estate's copyright so she can market it aggressively. I believe copyright is currently licensed to Universal: not sure if woot wants to do battle with Hollywood studios again...

Yeah, perhaps this color is hurting its chances...navy may be too dark though. Woot had me change the color of a print once because navy is so nearly black.

Hmm...even though I like cranberry shirts WAY more (I think olive makes most people look a bit sallow), it seems to overpower the design in this case. Maybe it's the higher contrast on this, or just the strength of the color itself, but I think you actually see more on the green.

That is a very good point and it totally slipped my mind. If woot bot catches it, I can always tweak it so the kid looks different. Thanks for the heads up.
