What's with the random green galaxy? I think it takes away from the design, it would look much better if there was green kelp floating up from the bottom or something, much better and more on-point.

Okay, there were a few problems with the original design that were driving me nuts, so I went back and fixed 'em. I Sheldon Coopered all over it and reordered the characters properly, redrew one of the ships, and completed the, uh... "moon".

It also looked way too dark initially, so I combined my black and grey into one color and added a light blue to make the composition a little better. I hope you like it!

I am newer to the shirt design/derby aspect and have a question. I've noticed the same people getting tons of votes at lightening speeds week after week - no matter if their designs are better or worse than some of the others. What's the key to winning these votes other than, obviously, good design? Is the derby more just a designer popularity forum or do people actually judge on the basis of actual design? Thanks!
