Excellent! I got first sucker status on "The Writer!" I feel that this is a good omen for this hopeful writer.

Sorry about that. A fix is in the schedule for that so it should be better soon.

I would have bought Universal Fun, The Bleue Dragonfly, Eyedroopper Tool, and The Writer. I might have bought LOL, too.

I would have been all over Velociraptor and Universal Fun. (Or, technically, those shirts would have been all over *me*!) However, the combination of the blank switch, and all the recent concerns regarding print quality control issues, will prevent me from purchasing.

This post will likely be removed like so many others, but Woot should know that consumers are rapidly losing faith in their product. Therefore I'll keep making myself heard with the one voice they can't censor or silence - my wallet.

I can't seem to get anything but an error page when I try to order. I blame the attempt at scoring a Bee Oh Sea earlier this morning.

I haven't bought a shirt in weeks, and I'd want about four or five from this side sale. Maybe I should take this as a sign.

That your wallet has control of your computer? If it did I think it would be more like that Internet worm theonion reported on (hint; it only happened late at night when the victims were drunk, and it could order over the phone too!).

I got it down to 3 for me and 2 for others.

Did you mention the A word? I think they have a bot scan that reports all A word posts.

I've been noticing that AA gets through just fine most of the time, but negative posts with the A word in them tend to be scrubbed.
I'm testing this on the current Daily BTW.

Anvils are heavy. They're really heavy. You don't really know where they're made either - maybe it's from China, maybe it's just from your local 'shop. Either way, they're poor quality, and I don't like them ... Unless they're in a cartoon and fall on a guy's head, which immediately produces a foot-long bump.

On a completely unrelated note, I like AA shirt blanks, and I wish there were more designs on them.

Then can you tell me why my post that said "I would have bought 4, maybe more, of these if they were on AA" was deleted?

It shows that I like the designs, and didn't say anything negative about Anvil.

The heavy handed moderation and censorship is ridiculous around here right now. I'm not a troublemaker and you will never see a foul word in any of my posts, so this deleting posts, moderation, and censorship is a new experience for me. It's not an experience that I have enjoyed.

Honestly, no I can't explain that particular incident. I do know things have been a bit quirky lately (and I am not going to presume to speak for everyone with powers to move/remove/edit), and seriously, if you feel that statement needs reposting, by all means, go ahead!

I do know this thread is getting wildly off topic, and if you all want to discuss this tangent, we have a thread for that.

In the interest of housekeeping, everyone should be advised off topic posts will likely be moderated out of here going forward.

Thanks in advance for understanding.

I'm so happy that The Writer printed! It's the first Woot shirt I've really wanted that didn't print in its original Derby or the Double Take. That's a lot of sad trombone checks of the shirt woot page. But now, the week of my birthday, it makes the Mentions of Honor cut. As a writer, a lady, and an enjoyer of typewriters and the ocean, not to mention the original poem, it was a must have.

Ok, fine, back to the Topic at hand:

Why don't Side Sale shirts have discussion threads like normal shirts? Not super annoying, but since sales data is now contained entirely in the Discussion thread it's making tracking sales data for side sales tough.

I for one would like to know if any of these sold better in a week than the Editor's picks did in the same 7 day period.

Last one. On June 16, 2006, you said you waded through 55 pages of Deleted posts. Assuming they accrue at a constant rate (though they probably increase linearly over time) and a standard page size of 40 posts per, that would be 3.5 spam posts per day, and the file should currently be 250 pages long.
