If allowing pop culture resulted in Derbies in which all top places were Pop Culture, I'd say you had a point. But let's go back and look at the last 5 shall we?

CONCLUSION: Pop is no more common that Artistic. Even when the Derby is an ART FORM this is True. Even when POP CULTURE IS EXCLUDED we see only a MARGINAL rise is Artistic Designs.
And personally I think that's more attributable to the stained glass effect of Butterflies and DragonFlies than the Pop restriction.
