Good, Woot-bot woke up, had a drink and opened the thread.

Now, where are my socks?

I thought it was an enchanted goat that snuck in my room and ate the sock right off my foot in the middle of the night. Pfft. Should've guessed it was aliens.

I knew this was what happens and I have tried explaining this to friends. I never had evidence though to back me up. Good to see woot knows what's up with the missing socks

I, for one, have always believed that the disappearance of socks is caused by the spontaneous appearance of primordial black holes in the dryer. I never considered alien abduction...a conspiracy is afoot!

So THAT'S where all my socks went. Makes me wonder though, how many feet do the aliens have?

I personally believe in the "Sock Fairy." She comes in and steals a sock from the drier then, if you are really good, she'll leave you a nice big ball of lint!

Nothing related to this shirt, but I thought I'd post this here anyway. Although I sent the same thing to service@woot.com, it's never too much to try to get in touch with Woot in the forum.

************

Hi Woot,

I just saw the Kitchen Warfare shirt is up for sale again (http://shirt.woot.com/offers/kitchen-warfare-21) and decided to buy it to a student who was reeeeeeally into is. Since I was paying the $5 for international shipping anyway, I thought of buying A Most Civilized Game (http://shirt.woot.com/offers/a-most-civilized-game) to a friend. However, I found out I couldn't add two shirts to the same order and pay a single $5 shipping fee. I was sure the all-you-can-ship thinkgy would allow for that, but apparently it doesn't.

I've got 16 hours to buy Kitchen Warfare, which I will anyway. Would you be interested in taking 15 more of my hard-earned dollars in exchange for that pesky extra shipping? I think changing the billind system is not doable on such a short notice, but maybe a last minute coupon code would not hurt to help out a loyal customer in gifiting a friend.

You know, she loves cats, loved another Woot shirt I gave her, is übber-cute, and just fell in love with the design. Damn, did I just use "love" three times in the previous sentence? Well, I guess that gives a hint as to why I so could use that coupon.

Kneeling,

gcosta

I always blamed it on gnomes. I guess I was wrong.

I would totally buy this on a poster and frame it and hang it in my washing room. So. Much. Awesomeness.

Bummer.

I so felt like shelling out $15 to get another shirt in the same order... But $20 hits a psychological level my accounting instinct says is too much for a flirt. I guess I'll keep my money to myself, then.

Maybe one day I'll be able to indulge in shirts in the reckoning and not waste on one shipping per piece.

This shirt reminds me of Fox Mulder witnessing his sister Samantha getting abducted. Sad times!

What can I say... I have been streaming all 9 seasons of The X-Files lately and I only have one episode left.

My username didn't change to jimp for my birthday, but I understand. Thanks, we're good!

Hey there fellow Wooters!

I'm thrilled to be able to offer you my 4th exclusive Woot tee design today. This idea came to me while walking late one night to take my mind off of a terrible cold I had been suffering. Only a foot or two above me, I noticed a UFO stocking me. I tried to shoe it away, but it shot a brilliant beam of light at me. At first I thought it was trying to heel my cold, but then I was enveloped in light and lifted into the sky. I felt like I was being toed by a 747. Just as quickly as it had grabbed me, it let me go. Luckily I was unhurt, but then I looked down and noticed one of my legs had been stripped of it's apparel. I wondered what kind of beings could have pulled off such a meaningless crime. One thing is for sure, I now considered them my arch enemies... I looked up into the sky at the strange craft as it receded into the clouds and yelled: "You may have my sock, but you'll never have my sole!"

Anyway, my friends, hopefully they won't be back for my shirt. Hope you all enjoy it!

And by the way, as usual, I'll be having a give-away on my Facebook fan page. Just click here and like, comment and share the page and you'll be automatically entered to win today's tee. I'll announce the winner tomorrow on July 12th.

Thank you all,
-Droidloot

No you were not wrong, gnomes are space aliens that are imprisoned in statue form by day but come to life at night and when we are on vacation. I think they stock up on our warm fuzzy socks to use as sleeping bags during those cold, wintery nights. Who really knows what they do and have done to our lawns and gardens?

Woot? Are you behind all this? Are you part of this big sock conspiracy that I’ve been hearing about? Maybe YOU steal our socks and make them into genetically engineered T-Shirts! OK,- it SOCKS to be me! L’o’L !

It was appropriate that the thread got abducted at the shirt launch.

I've always supported the Narnia theory of sock disappearances.

Yeah, so there's that...

This is a great example of why I haven't bought many Woot! shirts. It's a cute graphic and funny, but I wouldn't want to actually wear it.

The best shirt designs often take a back seat to something that would work better in a comic strip format.

Great art, love the picture, but not a winner as a shirt, for me.

I'm with you on this. Been a while since I've bought a shirt.woot for this very reason: That which makes a funny one-panel sight-gag doesn't necessarily make for good shirt-art.

Blasphemer! Your assertion that unicorn rapture has anything to do with this phenomenon is ludicrous. The link you provided is nothing but religious zealotry and I simply will not buy into the dogma (this is Woot - only catma will do). Anyway, mono-footed aliens are a much more likely explanation, and my theory is grounded in science!

Your move polkastria.
