Re: Minimalist Nyan
Now that song is stuck in your head too.
Re: cretaceous thinker
4 colors on navy.
I thought about something very similar when this derby was announced. I'm glad it was done by someone who could execute it properly. Love it!
Hamsterdance in the style of 80's graphic design and painters like Nagel.
Re: 5 Past Midnight
One of my least fond memories of the 'net's history was the Y2K hype (made worse by the 'net), along with all of the new doomsday cults and theories that have come since.
The current one (12-21-12) is the inspiration for this design
Re: Internet Nouveau
Two of the most important advancements in internet history, the dial-up connection and the wireless broadband connection are brought together in an art nouveau style design.
Miss internet 2012 may not have a face (it failed to load, stupid dial-up) but surely she's still pretty enough to warrant your vote!
Re: Internet Curiosity
Everyone is curious...
Haha! Great I love this!
Re: Cat Devouring His Cheezburger
Inspired by Francisco Goya's famous painting, "Saturn Devouring His Son". I don't recommend you look it up if you get grossed out easily, not a pretty site. A cheezburger will do instead.

I really like this! It's a nice take on Da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man".
Dial-Up + Art Deco

Re: Internet's Most Wanted
The internets biggest worm-based threats in history..... Art deco style!
Melissa: Named for a stripper that the code designer was obsessed with. 1999 The “Melissa” worm makes a sudden appearance, screwing up specific e-mail programs by clogging them with infected e-mails issuing from the worm. It is the first successful mass-mailing worm.
Code Red: "Hacked by Chinese" was it's calling card. Code Red was a computer worm observed on the Internet on July 13, 2001. It attacked computers running Microsoft's IIS web server.
Conficker: The godfather of Worms...It uses flaws in Windows software and dictionary attacks on administrator passwords to propagate while forming a botnet, and has been unusually difficult to counter because of its combined use of many advanced malware techniques.
4 colors on Cranberry!
Fortunately, our entry is silent so we don't give anyone earworms. ^_^
Wow so minimal the cat disappeared!
Best of all we used to think it was fast too!

But the meow is still there to represent the cat. It's all about the symbolism.
Re: Warhol seez CHEEZ

Your gonna make me buy another yellow shirt
Re: LEEEE-ROY LICHTENSTEIN!!!
This one is a collaboration with a friend, Oubliette, and we did it in the style, “Pop Art” of the 70's and 80's with contemporaries like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, who took everyday scenes and objects and displaying or recreating them in a new light.
Roy Lichtenstein took inspiration from pulp, 4 color comics of the time. Combine that with one of the move famous moments in all of internet history, Leroy Jenkins and you've got this killer shirt! Alright Chums, let's DO this! Thanks for your vote!
Check out more on the Lichtenstein here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Lichtenstein
I hope the rejectionator is brutal this week! Have some bullocks, DO IT!
Re: The Infinite is Possible
The unattainable is unknown!!!
It looks like Floppy Diskette is getting reckoned this week, and this feels like the perfect follow-up to it. Great design!

Well done! I'm so pleased someone used an ACTUAL art style. Well done.
I'm seeing several actual art styles in truth.
Check out my collaboration with Svelbjorn, we did Lichtenstein...

Re: Stick Figure Sumi-e (Silver)
My tribute to Xiao Xiao, or stick figure kung fu, from the flash video era of the internet. The Chinese says "xiào xiào zuò pǐn", or "A Little Bit of Creative Work", which is the name of the first video. In red is my seal - it says "rabbit".
