This is one of my overall favorite shirts that I've seen on Woot! I just broke down and joined recently because I finally found one that I couldn't resist. Now I'm glad I did so I was able to vote for this one--glad it made it back into the Fog, and I'm really hoping it wins--good luck!
Re: Heiresgryphics
I love it but cream shirts just don't do very well here it seems. I own several cream shirts myself, and there are at least two pairs that I've never worn. Bought them 'cuz I loved the design so much. Trying to curb that habit though.
Re: cretaceous thinker
This is stupid and just a slight rendition of the philosoraptor. I'm so sick of the unoriginality in the derby.
Radscoolian wrote: @orabbit: It was the only idea that really clicked for me. Sorry to see you drop out of the fog.
I know you feel my pain on that. I've seen the same thing happen to quality work by you too. At least your Napoleon shirt got printed! I bought one, and I love it.
Re: What the foxtrot?
I really like all the patterns and imagery here. The panels work together really well. Although, I feel like you could have benefited from a different thumbnail.. perhaps something from the middle section? I know I would have clicked it sooner! Cool shirt!

Cool story bro...

HA HA. Well put. The reactionary "Don't make fun of disabilities..." crying annoys me. Disability? He got DUMPED and did something extreme. The irony is that if Van Gogh were alive today and sent his ear to the poster who declared you made a bad thing in the ear design, they wouldn't pity and help Van Gogh, they'd call the police and get a restraining order, then post on facebook how Van Gogh is crazy and stalking them and go see the latest Twilight film with their BFFs. But hey, your art caused a strong response, so, SUCCESS!
Re: Internet's Most Wanted
Thank you to all of my supporters in this derby, I hope to see all of you again at the next!
Re: Internet Art History
This is ridiculously clever. You have my vote! Well done!
GMV! I wish the detail could have shown more of your wonderful design. Almost found it too late to vote. Please print it somewhere after waiting time is over!
Wow, great job!
Re: Anatomy of a MMORPG
Re: Cradle of Internetzation
Are you kidding? Yes yes, please print this Woot!!!!!
double post
Re: Yes He Can
Is this grounds for dismissal? Like, maybe it's just so pitiful, it calls for the blocking of the account? Does woot do that? They should.

Woot didn't ban the most infamous thief in the history of Woot, they aren't going to ban some dork making a political joke.

Nah, it'll stay. Last time I checked, the moderators were actually encouraging creativity.

I like creativity! I also have no control over the rejectionator.
Re: 56K
56k? More like 14.4!
Re: Hamsterdance!
I like it. I would buy it.
I approve and resemble this shirt.
Re: The Creation of Nerd
This also appears to be a wearable design.
Re: Night of the Honey Badger RESUB
I LOVE IT!! It really stood out. I think it is beautiful artwork.
This one really stands out. Love it!
My messages keep going to the wrong entry!
Re: Regard Dramatique
I think this is fantastic, and I'm disappointed it didn't do better.
Thank you!!

This is so good. Tetris Mondrian is good enough for first place all by itself. With the others... this is a masterpiece.
Re: A Series
I'm so broken-hearted that this one didn't print. (The thumbnail did not do it justice.) I'm ambivalent about the new derby rules, but if it means that a design of this quality that fails to capture votes could get printed, I could learn to love the new rules.
Thanks everyone for all the support and all the votes!! I am a bit sad that this didn't get higher in the voting, but the feedback has been awesome. Thanks for looking! I'm glad there are people out there who liked it. I love the original etching very much, so of course I had to keep it in Spanish. ;)

Ha! 14.4K. You young 'uns are spoiled. My first modem was 300 baud. Then 1200, then 2400, then 14.4K, then 28.8K, and finally 56K. To put things in perspective, on the Apple II, 5.25" floppy disks had a 140K capacity, which is equivalent to less than five seconds of a typical MP3. But it still took nearly an hour and a half to download one disk worth of data at 300 baud.

Thanks so much! I got it in quite late.

Re: Dial-Up!
Loved this shirt, was 1 of only 2 that I voted for this week. Would buy this shirt derby or no derby win.
