Images have no place on T-shirts.

Great job on this. I hope your circumstances don't resemble Goya's when he painted his version.

Thanks :D
as to the shirt disappearing, it might be the angle of your screen it looked fine on my screen but when you mentioned it I tilted it to check and yeah it does disappear fast once you get out of that optimal angle.

Re: Heiresgryphics

Meme sharing, the ancient way. No actual logos or copyright material used (or traced!), but Egyptian style references to modern file/art/link sharing sites are in the design.

Based on the derby description, I am under the assumption that while copyright material and images are forbidden, abstract and indirect references are acceptable (or that AOL idea wouldnt make sense).

Goya is one of my favourites and I don't mind cheeseburgers either. You matched the style and horror well.

What's an Internet Derby without 3 wolfs and a moon.

A bit of fun I thought up during the Art Nouveau Derbs

to Oubliette: This is a future Internet meme which takes old memes and renders them in a artistic style, and this artistic style is called Meme Nouveau.

Re: Troll pop

A skillfully crafted image but... not much attempt to use an artistic style(other than soft-featured cartoon-tshirt" style). A liiiittle more effort might have put this entry in line with the guidelines.

Ohhhh, you summon me from my cave high atop monster-mountain eh?

Hmmm lets see.

1) Not a cat design: thumbs up
2) 3 wolf, Moon: More rare meme than most: thumbs up
3) Making up your own art style defiantly: Style points +1
4) Critique: It's a little flat, but it has nice balance. All in all I'm not moved to great hate or great love, or mirth. It's a good showing, but I would not wear it so I can't vote button it, though I may be one of the few who votes that way.

And hello to you too.

Ehem. Okay. Bile suppressed... for now.

This is WELL done! There are a few purported "Cave Painting" designs and this one takes the crown as it is a wonderful representation of a subject matter I loath...

Hey, I ...would... (must... fight ..it) ..wear... thi... NO!!! I can not wear a Nyan Cat shirt!

but that is the ONLY reason I would but. Cheers, excellent showing here mate!

Retro Style? ...I know retro is a buzzword but it's not an "historical art style" and certainly not it this case.

Come on, why do folks have to cheap out with shoe-horning submissions in. *sigh*

I'm pretty sure they allow photos that aren't copyrighted...I think they do anyway. In any case, I totally drew that moon....totally did.

I fail to see how using a reference image of the moon is a problem because it is well processed and via processing, becomes art.

if Andy Warhol taught us anything, it is that.

And collage, also an art form. I just doubt anyone here can pull collage off well. It would take a genius to...

...wait I'll be right back.
