"Creation of Nerd" can be interpreted in two ways. It could mean the event at which the nerd was created. It could also refer to something the nerd created. I think the latter interpretation would apply very well to this shirt. ;-)

Re: It's your friend v2 !

This is literally just a copy and paste of Fallout's Pipboy with some stupid, irrelevant sentence.

How do designs like this even get accepted into the derby in the first place?

Re: Across the Starry Night

I like the concept, and the rainbow is beautifully integrated into the design, but IMO the cat itself just looks like it was plopped on top without being put into the same art style. :-(

I bought a woot shirt through a coworker and never myself directly. I regret now because I can't vote, but I'd definitely vote for this one.

taternuggets wrote:I like it but how many colors is this?

It's 6 colors you can see the colors by my name and the title. I thought that it would look cool if I turned them into a shape of something like other artists do from time to time?

Wow, I really love this design and how it was done!
I'd love to buy this for a friend of mine if not buying one for just myself.

I agree, and it bothers me, though only slightly. I still really like the design and think it's worth buying.

This is after Magritte's "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" ("This is not a pipe"), 1928-1929.

Yes he can what? Tax everyone to death? Send more soldiers to the endless war in the middle-east and not bring anyone home, and then get a Nobel PEACE prize for it? HA!

The rules also say no text only and I feel this is kind of stretching that.

I'm a sucker for an art deco design. I just wish it was a little bigger on the shirt. Nonetheless, got my vote.

:D that was actually the idea of putting it on the black, like an unseen fire or flashlight had illuminated it in the darkness. I'm glad that came through :D

Anybody can upload pretty much anything to the derby, there is no pre-approval.

This will be rejected for use of the copyrighted Vault Boy character, or just for being off-theme.
