LOVE this shirt! Particularly the teapot where the VW should be....I always joked about there being 5 Be(e)atles on the cover for Abbey Road, and it looks like I'm not the only one who noticed! :D <3

Just want to thank everyone who gave my design a vote. This was my first foray into the derby and I was happy just to get a design up in the correct format that didn't get rejected. Never imagined I'd get over 60 votes. Thanks everyone!

Once the design goes into the Fog of War we can't see the votes so that the shirts are a surprise when they go on sale ...but that means that it is in the top 9 so it has a good chance!

I voted for it. I think it might be better if the majority of the French troops were knights instead of pawns. And you could invent a few longbowmen pieces for the for the English. Maybe next time.

It's been a while since I have submitted ( http://shirtwhat.com/archive_a.php?artist=sgreenip&derby=&rejected=0&removed=0&sort=V ),or even voted on any woots, but that will change. I hope the reasons for rejection change, too. They used to be witty and funny, but now it's mostly "We can't run this". Why can't you run it? It would be nice for us designers to know so we don't make the same mistakes in future derbies, or so we can alter the piece and re-submit. Also, it used to be very funny to read the reasons. I know some of them are totally obvious (religion, celeb likenesses, blood and guts), but sometimes it's not. Bring back the funny!

Well done, my friend. I am particularly impressed with the fact that you weren't rejected for use of photos, which indicates to me that the inkwell is hand done. Again, well done. Keep up the good work and you will win. If not here, than in another derby for sure.

Thanks, harantula. Computer work is a whole new world for me, and I'm really enjoying getting some feedback. I'm trying to figure out a way to feel more comfortable using the tablet over my pencil and paper. I'll keep trying!
