Beautiful shading and awesome idea! Id hate to have to figure out a way down after eating all that @_@.

I finally figured out what to do for imagine. Again, old paintings to the rescue. This is from my "Bird of Good Cheer" card collection. I used to sell these at street fairs in the '70's/early 80's. Guess that gives you all an idea of my age...uh,uh,...probably shouldn't go there.

Don't want to be the party pooper.. just to point something out: The circular "logo" is clearly for Serenity.. which was the movie... not for Firefly..which was the series. So it's a little bit "off" to use that logo and say Season Two instead of Sequel.. but I like the idea!!

Nice! I like it. The smaller placement image is still the old version, I'm not sure if Woot rejects for that as long as the thumbnail matches, which it does.

Like I said in my previous comment, I don't want to diminish anything about the design. I think it actually is executed extremely well. But at the same time, you just drew the goblins and then added the quote. I don't see an original statement you're trying to make or a comment on the original or anything else that would constitute fair use. It's all about taking the old and adding something new and I just don't see it, especially since you say his work influences your style so heavily anyway.

The story of the monkey paw was the first thing that came to mind when this derby was announced, but I couldn't for the life of me think how to design it! so I am glad that someone did! I like the moral of the story!
