True. There are two operations who are similar, according to the {indisputable} web.
"Me So Hungry" is a different, though similar name. I did not, however, know about it.

"Miso Hungry's" name is ambiguous. If you look at the design, it looks like "Miso Xungry." I didn't know about this one either, until it was pointed out above. I don't think, especially since neither has a "™" or "®" symbol next to their name, there is any conflict here.

Woot has a lot of awesome and awesomely strange and frustrating replacement filters. :-)

Regarding notifications, I think deals.woot is the only site that sends out alerts. Unfortunately, you just have to keep checking back or browse the complete thread for each derby. I usually start with the last page and work backwards.

Also, another tip, your thumbnail is very important since that's how most people browse. Your first one wasn't very appealing and this one, thumbnail and design, is loads better. Good luck!

This is wonderful! I love the style and Cambrian goodness is always appreciated ^^!

You have to admit that this design WILL look better on a shirt, since it has no gradations and will weather the years of wear and washing.

You need to have a tee layout shown as well. Otherwise, it will be rejected (if they do another round--this late in the derby, things slip through)

Yes, manual. I figured it would be good to have the text turning to ash (Chicxulub was the site of the big, dino-ending asteroid) so I cut into the text with the lasso in Photoshop and shifted it up, letter by letter. Then I added some flakes above it with the pencil. :^)

I think this would do better if there were a few more elements. I'm normally a fan of keeping thing simple, but the meat and beans don't have any context. A plate, napkin...just something to ground them instead of having the float within the text.
Having the base of the wine glass 'flat' messes with the plane perspective for the meat and beans.

Thanks for the advice, well received. I agree, I am new to the shirt derbies and CS6 so I struggle to get shirts posted in time. I wanted to add more, such as a plate and a place mat, but simply ran out of time.

Hmm, not sure where the notion of plastic came from (eta: Oh! Because I said "cup"). I was saying the glass, as an object, looked as if it were pasted over the picture of the fluid as opposed to being drawn as a cohesive whole.

"Move along" is in my signature. Seems to fit most of my posts .
I'm not sure how other people get theirs to be all shadowy and stuff.

I wasn't trying to make it really tricky. The configuration is already there, I just took what already existed and imagined it slightly differently...
I think/hope all us cubicle warriors could appreciate it.
