I think this would make an awesome poster, but it way too much for a shirt. Still clever design. I'm sure all us nerds whether science nerds or food nerds can argue into infinity over which food should have been which "element". I expect this could be a very busy discussion thread.

This is an awesome shirt. Too bad some elements got skipped though, like Db, Bh, Hs, Mt, Ds, Rg, Cn, Fl, and Lv. So that begs the question, what foods would those be? Would they be highly unstable creations? :P

"Kraut" is just the german word for "Cabbage," so I think it'd be more of an isotope of Ca than its own element.

I would so hate to be the chef in that restaurant. That would be a kitchen nightmare. It's like the swedish chef paired with beaker or bunson.

This requires an alteration of the one from column a and one from column b strategy...so many combos.

I really want there to be some kind of game where you randomly generate a real chemical molecule and make your meal out of the elements in it.

Thank goodness, I was afraid I was the only one that had the attention span to get down that far. Come on people, at least read the shirt before you start tearing it apart for not including things :P

If this were an actual menu and one ordered a 'water' they'd just get one lonely onion ring with a bunch of hummus.

Anyone else think this would be awesome as a reusable grocery bag? Hm? Woot- hint, repro it as a bag so people can stare at it as long as they want w/o awkward comments and could be used to carry many of the items listed...

Hmmm. I guess the subject matter is clever enough. But I have to take issue with the dazzling array of colors used in this design. Ow, they hurt my eyes.
