One more reason it's lazy: it's not even a proper low-res font. Look at the F. It has a step in it that implies smaller "pixels" than any of the other letters do.
Sadly, I see this a lot on "8-bit" style art, where the artist doesn't obey a hard grid that the games of yore had to.

The phrase was not in the original SNES game, which is mediocre. The phrase originated in Star Fox 64, which is not mediocre, unless you're bad at it.

Llandar! It happens that I'm learning some basics in After Effects today - so I drew you having so much fun playing StarFox, remembering just how awesome it was

This would've been more impressive if it had still managed to use all 26 letters of the alphabet. Knowing it doesn't (J, M, P) would always be in the back of my mind.

If the design doesn't involve any actual drawing, you should at least make sure the sentence is a pangram, so that the text fulfills the concept. As several have said in previous comments, this just reads as a lazy "insert meme here" shirt. Disappointing.

Lazy meme shirt with text as funny as something I could have come up with on the toilet. Count me as +1 to not buying this shirt.

I don't think it's lazy at all. I think there's always elegance to a simple design such as this. Minimalism for the win!

It's bad enough that the recent derby themes have given the (still very talented) artists nothing to work with, but the dailies have been god awful. As others have pointed out, this is a very lazy design.

This is how the numbers get fixed! All I have to do is not check the numbers at the first day cut-off and they appear!
