Did we lose Bounty42?

Whoa, I don't check in for a few weeks and all the Star Wars shirts are gone! How is this possible?

Four Seasons In One Day is available in this week's side sale as a t-shirt and zip hoody. I have the Sales Statistics link for when it was originally for sale. It has been climbing during the week, but it's not clear whether it tracks just the t-shirt or the hoody as well. Am I missing the second link?

Back 'n tha day (when sales numbers were posted for non-t-shirt items in the side sales), sales for shirts and not-shirts tracked separately. The last I'd heard with the Woot Plus sales, the artists were receiving links that tracked the "Order Pace" and "Woots Sold" as percentages, like the stats for yesterday's sale over at main woot:

Bottom 31% of all Woots

Woots Sold (rank):
Top 4% of Woot.com Woots
Top 8% of all Woots

Obviously, that's not particularly helpful in tracking sales and verifying commission payments... Anyway, I'm not positive if you're missing a tracker or if woot has changed their policies, but I suspect you were supposed to receive a link. Anyone have more accurate information? (Paging tjost!)

I hadn't thought about it in a while, but you're absolutely right. Sales were even lower a few months ago; they've actually picked back up with some of the newer shirts in the Reckoning.

Although - I can't recall the last time that Binge, Nevermore, and Formula were in the top 10, with Shhhh! in 11th. The Reckoning is being sustained by its pillars!

Yep, as it stands right now several familiar faces will fall in a couple hours.

Speaking of sales numbers, I went and checked the Reckoning thread for #212, just over a year ago. The number 20 shirt was selling at approximately 19 DSR (18.88) back then. By Neuro's partial numbers, that would be good enough for 7th place now!

Also speaking of lower numbers, that old thread was four pages and 130+ posts long. How times have changed.

Edit: to match a year better, I just checked #213 and #214. Shorter threads (only 59 and 72 respectively) but the number 20 shirt in #213 was still at just above 19 DSR at the start. Narf didn't do DSR calculations after Friday back then, but #214 shows that 19 DSR was only good enough for 21 or 22 on Friday night. So No. 7 now would not have survived a year ago, per sales numbers.

Ok, I keep hearing all these things about this mythical woot-off. When does this happen, and how can I find out it's happening before it's too late?

For shirt.woot, it's typically an hour on Tuesday afternoon of a general woot-off (those start on Monday at midnight and usually last to 11:59 pm Wednesday or so). The shirt.woot-off hour generally starts at 1:00pm Central, although Woot has been known to vary that time in the past. Woot-offs themselves come around every 4-6 weeks these days. I imagine we'll see another at the start of October. Follow @wootoff on Twitter and you'll know when they happen (as your feed will flood with woot-off announcements).

Sometimes you'll find email announcements. Check your account settings, there should be one to opt-in for woot emails. In fact, I've got one right now saying that the next woot-off will be next week on Tuesday and Wednesday (part of the special crap-a-thon they're running this week and next). So keep yer eyes open!

That's odd, I always thought Monday was the listed day of reckoning, not Tuesday. Shouldn't it be Day of Reckoning #265: September 10, 2012?

Huh. Obviously a change that came with the website overhaul. Very strange, and rather nonsensical in my opinion. But to answer your original question, yes, I do find that more than a little creepy.

Woot seems to have had some problems with "midnight" since the relaunch. Remember the woot plus sales that were set to expire at "midnight" on Sunday and did - when they were supposed to expire at 11:59PM on Sunday or midnight on Monday? I think this is the opposite of that. To me, it feels inaccurate generally; should we ask if it can be changed going forward?

As for No1's point: I blinked each time that I saw "Day of Reckoning: September 11th." It definitely felt a little weird.

Is there anyway I can get my hands on the Woot shirt that appeared yesterday? I'm kicking myself for not getting it....
