Re: come dance with me
Wow! very cool.
Re: Just A Pocket
I just ordered the Shhhh t-shirt so you know I want this.
But I'm afraid the lizard might not be dark enough to produce the intended effect.
Maybe you can invert his color scheme?
Something like this perhaps?:

What does this look like as a positive image? I really like the line work.
I really like this drawing. In my opinion, it is a perfect example of crosshatching.

She looks surprised to be underwater

Not with that attitude, it won't. Positive thinking, old bean!
Re: Albino Peacock
Beautiful! Nicely done.
Re: Rising in the East
Fantastic! I like how it mirrors your other dragon submission, but this is the eastern/serene version.

Re: rain dancer 2012
When it rains, it pours!
I love this design! ---but... I can't stop seeing Posie from Mission Hill when I look at the girl... hehe

Thanks so much!
Had a hard time naming him...
Krakephant was an early fav...
If only I had made it half hippo...
Re: Shadow of the Night
I like this original version much more, mostly because of the way it fills out the shirt.
I also like the one wing. It looked like it was scraggly and rotted. Much more deathlike.
Either way, good luck! You got my vote!
Re: The Last Dragon Hunter
Amazing, as always, Patrick! Wonderful job with the forms of the dragon. Love the body and how it feels nice and solid. Kickass rocks too. I love me some nice rocks!
Beautiful job here. Fantastic looking waves and the composition is awesome. I think using perhaps a tiny bit of light blue for the ink would help it feel more moody, but the white is nice and stands out well. Great job!
Haaa that piano's face is so great! Wonderful image, guys!!
It must be Saturday morning. Time for all the "let's see what I can post while the rejectionator is out" submissions.

Working on it, I didn't quiet see it, but others have pointed it tout to me. I'm going rework another version. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
Sometimes you work so close on a piece that you don't notice things.

It's been awhile!! Thanks!!
I would love to hear the story of your collaborative process!
Re: Popcorn Party
Just in time for All Hallows Eve. I love a good new Halloween shirt.
Re: Wild Thing
Love the bird in the antlers.
Re: Cross Rose Cat
I just don't understand why you guys who do such nice designs in dark colors put them on such dark colored shirts that we can't tell what the design is from more than six inches away. Take a clue and put them on something a little lighter (like silver) so we can at least see your work.
Re: Who has the key ? (on biege)
I'd like to see the design smaller and right over the heart (pocket position). I like the lighter shirt, too, for the color combo. If you like the red better, maybe the design should be in white.
writermist wrote:this is one of those images... as beautiful as the detail is... that just goes too far.
It's... just... too much detail. O_o
I get dizzy looking at it.
I totally disagree with this. It reminds me of an illuminated manuscript. Would be perfect on a bookplate (smaller size, of course) Also reminds me of the line from the old folksong Barbra Allen: "...and the rose grew round the briar." Beautiful piece.
orabbit wrote:Thanks! Although I'll probably delete this version later.
No! No! Just leave it up for the duration so we can vote for it. I'm also a brown on ecru person, but I'd take the black on gray if that were all that was offered since I love the design.

Really dig that turtle shell... it's an interesting take on it but it works well. Niiiiice!
I love it!!! The dreamcatcher usually has an interior woven net through which it is supposed to catch and hold nightmares until the light of day. Good dreams, on the other hand, can pass through the net. For the purpose of design, however, the net would be too much. I like the stars shining through.

I actually tried the red and white combination. There was way too much contrast and the shadowing just didn't look correct.
Re: Three Wolf Harmony
Hope you all like it, couldn't resist a good parody...
how can i vote for this shirt?! this entire site is so confusing!
Re: click b click a click n click a click n click a
It has been a long time since I've voted for a fogged shirt because I want it to win rather than voting against other fogged shirts.
OOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo and AWwwwwww i think sums this up
very nice design
I agree that this would make a great Halloween shirt.. not that you couldn't wear it other times as well. GMV.
Re: Pirate Music
Would you mind posting a closeup of part of this drawing so that we can see the crosshatching?
At this level, it looks like a drawing that was passed through a filter, and woot has rejected several entries for that.
This is awesome. I love it.
Re: Crosshatch Crane
Beautiful and elegant!
Re: A Hairy Situation
Thank you, morningsong. Actually, that is the positive. I think it was the colors that I chose that kinda gave it that negative effect.
