You might want to take this down and resub it quickly, showing the placement of the design on the shirt (a requirement for shirt comp images). Otherwise, it will probably be rejected for not being on a shirt template.

Thanks ive never submitted before but the design i did is on the template i got from the woot derby site.

While it is true that many include it in the main display that rule is about something else.

The file sent to woot should be sent with gradients if using a specific design program. However, as they will be converted to half tones, the display image for the voters must use halftones instead of gradients. I believe this artist has done that.

I didn't see halftones in the image until we got closeups, it might just be because it's shrunken down, but I think the original image is without them.

I just thought it was more interesting that way. My first thought was of Atlas holding the Earth. That would be a really bad job. Then I thought of the turtles, and wanted to give a sense of precariousness to the whole pile, so I had him holding it up Atlas style.

Thanks viridiancat! I actually think my perspective is a bit wonky, and my construction could use some help too, but it is what it is. I just wanted to get the idea out.

I'm worried this submission might be taken the wrong way. I don't find the subject funny- in fact it saddens me that in many parts of the world slavery is still a reality. I think the image is eye catching and brings attention to something most people try to ignore. Maybe this image is too edgy for wooters but it's what I thought of as the worst job ever.
