For our annual picnic we have a mascot we call Rufus the Squirrel or Roofus T. Squirrel (because he stands in the roof) but maybe he needs to be Rufous because he is rust colored

I object. Several of these aren't colors. Phlox is a flower, but its not a color name in common use (although yeah, there is a pantone shade for it. Regalia? What color is that?
