I love it, but the best seems small... It might just be me, but I think other shirts in this style take up more of the sides and the design takes up most of the shirt. Otherwise I absolutely love it!

tehbronson wrote:I like this, too, but wouldn't it be better if the shirt is the same color as the vest? I assume that's not possible with the shirt color options, but just a thought.

I actually like that idea but you know what would be awesome is to utilize the whole shirt. However with these restrictions I think this and what you say works. I wanted to keep it all blue because his sleeves and one under shirt is blue. Red seemed like it wouldn't have read well. Next time or for another derby!

I agree but if there wasn't a specific size where the shirt could be place then this would be even better! I think I should make one that takes up the entire shirt. Thanks for the comment!

No doubt! The shirt on the other link posted looked a lot less detail-oriented than yours. Still hoping you win...I'm desperate to get this for my husband.

Re: A Major Award

Thanks j5, mistressofpez, cdrewlow, and L3g3ndQ. @L3g3ndQ - It also doesn't have a FRAGILE tag on it in the movie, but I thought this way best communicated the key points at a glance. Thanks for holding your nose and voting! ;)

Not details that alter the idea behind it. The Vader shirt is making fun of it, the labels weren't really there. With this, the difference is the style and execution--and I agree, yours is well done--but that's not the point. The 'similar shirts exist' rule means just that. A shirt with the same idea is already available. If woot chooses not to reject this, that's their right. They aren't that consistent with enforcement.

Burgundy would have been a good color. Thank you Woot for not plastering the sign across the image. I thought it was very polite of you. And it took me hours to get that image to work on the computer. You can tell I am a paper drawer.

Usually don't go for "Cute", but considering the derby, this works great. Takes me back to my favorite paper-backed candy. Very clever!

Re: The Doctor, Who?

Want to dress up as "a doctor" for Halloween? Why stop there? Just compliment this shirt with a pair of blue scrub pants and dress up as "the doctor" complete with Gallifrey Medical id badge and sonic screwdriver.

Note that the bar code reads "The Doctor".

Yeah Debated long and hard whether to include Pluto... it almost won a spot due to the fact I'm a sentimentalist - but in the end the shirt looked too crammed with it. Poor Pluto

Sadly, the 'similar shirts exist' rule is not quality driven. It's about being a new idea, not an improved execution of an old idea.
