The Triforce (トライフォース Toraifōsu?) is a sacred relic that reappears throughout the Legend of Zelda series. These golden sacred triangles were left behind by the three Golden Goddesses — Din, the Goddess of Power; Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom; and Farore, the Goddess of Courage — after the creation of the land of Hyrule. It was formed at the point where they ascended to the heavens, in a different dimension connected to Hyrule called the Sacred Realm, which would later be referred to as the "Golden Land." The Triforce consists of three separate sacred golden triangles: the Triforce of Power (top), the Triforce of Wisdom (left), and the Triforce of Courage (right).

The Triforce has the power to grant the wish of whomever touches it, and molds the Sacred Realm to reflect that person's heart. The Triforce does not discriminate between "good" or "evil". However, if a person without an equal balance of power, wisdom, and courage makes a wish, the Triforce will split into its three separate parts: the piece that best personifies the wish-maker will be the only piece to remain in hand, whilst the other two will take residence in whosoever most personifies them. Reassembly is then required for such a person's wish to be granted, but does not exclude another from making the attempt.

edit: i also noticed that from afar, it actually looks like an 8-bit version of the triforce with a golden sheen. maybe it's the font.

Well now I'm gonna be searching my bags of candy corn to find 3 that are that perfectly equilateral so I can make my own real candy corn triforce. Even 1 would be something, they always seem to be rather on the acute side.

That write up made me pause - who did invent candy corn, and why? It doesn't make a lick of sense now that I think about it. It isn't even very kernel shaped. More like a candy pylon. Has anyone seen a How It's Made on the subject?

Honestly, candy corn is pretty tasteless.

This shirt might have been good if it didn't have TRICORN plastered all over it. People who know Zelda will always get a triforce reference. You don't have to explain your joke on the shirt.

I can not idly stand by while Woot peddles this filth; have the persons behind this website not read the infinite articles on Triforce abuse? Ganon is a real person! Snopes even has an article about how lakes froze over and mountains became redder all due to a single piece of that Triforce. This single event verifies everyone's fear that the Triforce is a dangerous object and should not be given any publicity (aside from saying it shouldn't be given any publicity of course).

I am never allowing you to force me to buy another shirt again from your site because of this gross negligence, therefore I am proclaiming I will never buy another shirt from your site again. Game over Woot.
