Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?
Al Pastor is the undisputed heavyweight champeen of taco meat.
Another vote for al pastor.
carnitas if someone else is cooking; carne asada if I am.
Which one of those is seasoned ground beef?
Tuna!
Mole in a taco? Alright... My vote goes to barbacoa.

Yeah, I'm in for that one!
Hambuger with Bacon..

The mole poblano taco from Guisados, in Boyle Heights (East L.A.), is one of the best tacos i've ever had. Actually pretty much anything at Guisados is the best taco I've ever had.
Apparently I've been missing out on something, I've never had any of those tacos! Damn you midwest with your ground beef tacos.

sssssesssssossssss! Actually, al pastor is my fave also. I live on the east coast, but am lucky to have a strong hispanic community in my area. Agua Horchata por somor
Yeah...that's what this gringo says too...

Lengua. Next time you're in a proper Mexican restaurant, ask for Tacos de Lengua.
My vote is for barbacoa. I think i'm gonna go get some this weekend.
I don't eat tacos. They're nasty. I'd rather eat scum sucking bottom feeders like lobster.
Carne Asada, just edged out chorizo for me. Even with the urge for the sucker vote on the Lengua. But there is a bias against breakfast tacos here, chorizo and eggs or papas are great ways to start the day.
My standard order is 1 carne asada, 1 al pastor, 1 lengua. I can never decide which one I like the best, so I don't bother trying.
Atlantic Cod, or other white fish.
Fish
My sentiments exactly.
All of the above (At once)
Well I'm vegetarian. So I'll go with the refried beans (made without lard) version, or perhaps some grilled veggies. ^.^
Bistec... or carne asada (if there is no bistec). Al pastor if they are served with pineapple. Refried beans or ground beef if they are homemade... barbacoa if I buy the barbacoa and prepare the tacos myself. Breakfast tacos: potato and egg. I LOVE TACOS!!!
