Are you sure? I could have sworn there was some clarification about it along the way (that back prints not allowed in derbies, only in daily shirts), but my memory is so bad I'm not sure.

About the design: The placement here is good for a front of shirt - if it is on the back, make the Gecko big, big enough to fill the back of the shirt, and centered.

It's entirely possible. My memory is based on eHalcyon's thread, which is unofficial and out of date in many respects, but still quite useful.

why is there no official mod on this site that would be given all the possible rules and clarifications to put up in an accessible place? i dont get it. Why would shirt.woot not care about that? Afterall they are making A LOT of money on our designs so why not make everything a bit more official and organized.. i keep seeing people not sure about the rules and even the ones that seemingly know the rules say they are not completely confident if something is allowed or not. I think they should update their rules section with a lot of detail and info so that designers get more educated and come up with way better designs and don't go through disappointment of having their work rejected because of some rule that was not clearly stated anywhere.

Thanks for the feedback! I gave his one a lot of thought though, hence the lateness of the posting, I wanted the size of the ninjecko to be similar to a real gecko. And one of the funnier aspects of the design (In my opinion), is the fact that it looks like an assassin sent to kill the wearer, but he's just so little and adorable.

The FAQ for the derby says no back prints, and I have seen them rejected for it.

But yes, it would be nice to have updated, easily accessible list of derby and daily submission rules. Frustrating to artists and the community at large.

Edit and retraction. It looks like a back print is ok so long as there is nothing on the front. Front, good. Back, good. Front and back, bad.

Kind of like legs and Animal Farm.
