Re: Favorite Brew
This is an alternate version without the word "Coffee" and on Navy. Please vote if you like and thanks if you do. Celebrate your favorite caffeinated brew. Mine is coffee!
Re: Cool Beans
Hope you like this entry. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.
zomg my first derby entry ever!
Re: Caffeine High
Re: Space Coffee
I really like your line work and texturing.
I want!
Re: Caffeination
1454?
Re: Magic Beans
I had a couple people say my thumbnail was bad so I'm resubmitting this one.
midstarrynight wrote:So cute!
Agreed - this would make an amazing zip up hoodie with the "coffee bean forest" graphic on the front!

Looks like Earthworm Jim.
Re: Catfeine
This submission is really just to spite my coworker who thinks Woot has too many cat designs.
The bird that stays up all night fueled by coffee gets the worm.
Re: The Early Bird
I know I'm late to the game, but I had to submit anyhow. Still learning my way around shirt design. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks for lookin'!
Re: Coffee Transfusion
Just another night nurse giggling/wanting this...carry on..
Thanks so much :D

Thank you! :D
I love this on Navy AND cream (cream just motivates me to spill less food on myself, haha)and I especially love it without the word, because the design is strong enough without it.
Re: Tea: Civilized Caffeine
Cheerio ol chap.
Very nice! I like the oriental feel to it. Also the version without "Coffee" is better, I think.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_coffee "He reported that one Sheikh, Jamal-al-Din al-Dhabhani (d. 1470), mufti of Aden, was the first to adopt the use of coffee (circa 1454). He found that among its properties was that it drove away fatigue and lethargy, and brought to the body a certain sprightliness and vigour." The origin is a bit fuzzy for coffee. I know that caffeine in different forms were used even earlier. But I needed a date, the dawn of time was just too vague.

Re: Powerup V2
Version #2 Resub with the molecule and WIS corrected. (Soooooo embarrassed) I realize it's probably too late for this to win, but (fingers crossed) if there's a chance at an Honorable Mention, I'd prefer a "Correct" version move on...
zycki3 wrote:I agree... also it's a shame that it's not a caffeine molecule either. Being a chem geek, I need to stress the importance of double bonds in the 5-atom ring.
Erg!!!! So, embarrassed. I resubbed a "Version 2" with the WIS and molecule corrected. (And this is a double-fail, because I'm a long-time gamer and a Chemical Engineer. Guess I need to hire an copyeditor). I realize it's probably too late for it to fog, but there's always a chance at an EC or an HM.

Beat me to it.
I like this version much better. It lets the art, which is TREMENDOUS, speak for itself.
sneakerthief wrote:I'm sorry, but the nerd in me has to point this out. It should be "WIS" not "WI". Other than that, it's a great design.
The nerd in me is screaming because the Stats aren't in the traditional order. STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA
love it!

but they're soooo cuuuute!!
You have succeeded. “Never underestimate spite as a motivator for genius.”

Printed? Someone should make a Real hourglass like that. (4 minutes, good for French Press)
Re: Wake The F Up
genius... and so perfectly designed.

tonycenteno wrote:Collab with the amazing Tobias Fonseca. 5 Colors on Silver, we hope you like it!
I was about to say this shirt has been done before (in double take derby 16) but then I realized it's by tobefonesca anyway! Nice collab. The art is much more detailed now, and it still has the same design appeal from the original(s). Although, I like the creme shirt better than the silver shirt, it gives it a warmer "coffee steam" feel to me.
Re: Choose Your Weapon
Woo! Thanks! I really really really like this version
Re: Coffee Time
Thank you, guys. I was really happy with this one.

i Agree its awesome!

I suspect you have never seen rabbits copulating. Not like it's a common sight.
Really late submission, but I really liked my initial sketch, so decided to submit this week anyways. It's been a while since I've submitted, hope you like it!
Re: Beware Of Caffeine
Hold on I just found out what Parody means and it is when someone copys someone else's style, or a genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect. And last I checkt rabbit joke are vary common for there big familys, multiplication skills, and lets not forget how crafty they are when faced with duck's, coyotes, short tempered cowboys, hunters, and tasmanian devil.

Re: i like my sugar with coffee and cream
What typeface is that? I like it!
merlindylan wrote:I had a couple people say my thumbnail was bad so I'm resubmitting this one.
might wanna be careful with "no photo" rule which i believe applies to all derbies if im not mistaken. your beans even if painted with hand look a lot like photo cut outs.. i was rejected for similar thing before
