Simple: videogames for single player and board games for multiplayer, both equally engaging dependent on mood and circumstances.

Video games can be single player. As far as I know there aren't really any single player board games... IMO card/board games are more fun with multiple people as opposed to co-op

All games have their moments depending on who is involved and how long we have to play.
