It's not dead... I know it's not since there's an actually store that sells only bacon theme items.

Clever idea, although I think it would work better with less text - maybe nix the paragraph on the right? If you're going for the infomercial feel, you could always do a VERY EXCITED LIST of things that rice can fix? like "phones!", "tablets!", "computers!". (I have this specific infomerical style thing in my head that I can't quite write down but hopefully you know what I mean - where they list off ZOMG ALL THE THINGS, all excited-like? "You can make yogurt! salad! tuna! EVEN SALSA!" Not sure how you'd execute that, though...)
