This definitely looks more melted or like a photoshop filter than squished. When something is flattened things gets disproportionate and blown out not drippy...

Interesting rework, though I don't like the distressing/fading much. I like the colors, although do wish the light color popped a little more, it's more subtle I think because of the distressing.

I get the word play with the title but there's something about this that looks odd. I think the TARDIS looks too much like a computer model. It is incongruous to the background.
