As a dinosaur nerd I agree, it's not recognizable enough as a T-Rex, it looks like a slug with giant feet.

A dinosaur is very different from a robot, I don't think it should HAVE to look the same. Unless you drew a dinosaur robot. Those are awesome.

I think the basic design could be turned around into a message about the love of a cat. I know when I had cats, the more love I got, the more hair I seemed to wear LOL.
