While the design is clean and well-done, I really dismayed that you chose to replace the olive branches usually held in its right talons with dynamite. You've replaced balance with destruction and violence.

FYI, Ben Franklin's dislike for the use of the eagle is not urban legend, but rather documented in letters.

ty Yea, not big on Yellow either, but, I wanted a bright color that would go good with brown, and I wasn't feeling any of the other colors.

this is awesome... i love your style... and ignore those who say to make the dino more recognizable.
that can cause an issue since everyone has their own fav dinosaur... so making a unique one works for everyone.

The joke was simply based on the saying "F you and F the horse you rode in on..."

The rubber/glue title clicked in my head after I finished the design and was posting it- made me chuckle so I threw it in too...

Should I DROP the title and title it "The horse you rode in on"
or should I INCLUDE the title on the shirt...

or should I not worry about it as this design is too random anyway. ;)

I pondered about whether or not to use the olive branch or the dynamite. Since this was about mottos and branding, and since I'd already gone with the weaponry theme (with all the blades, etc.) and the 'in-your-face' motto, I chose the dynamite.

As a history nut, I'd thought the Ben Franklin opposition to the eagle was well-established, but then found a good deal of dispute about this, which got picked up in the Wikipedia article on the Bald Eagle, as well. So, in the end, I kept the title (which was close to the original motto I was considering) but then referred to it as Urban Legend, just to cover all the bases ;-)

I like this, but I think it would be funnier if the "height" the snail scaled was something a lot more mundane -- maybe a compost heap. That would make "no matter the destination" make more sense.

truthfully, I would just drop the second part of the quote... especially since you are going to need to resubmit based on shirt color.

When I saw the thumbnail and title I thought the shirt would be about horses and glue and that's why he had a tear in his eye. I really like the "horse you rode in on" slogan better than a horse/glue shirt. We use that saying a lot around here (just "you and the horse...." without the f word). I guess you could change it to something about "the horse you rode in on", or "leave him alone", but I'm not sure it would make that much difference, especially with the new rules. And it's Saturday night before a big holiday week where the vote totals will be even smaller than they have been lately. Relax and let it be.
