I thought we'd see more newbies escape the event horizon of the dangerzone this week. Hopefully the back catalog will reopen soon.

So Owlgebra will be getting cut on week 7, same as my recycling dragon. My longest ever survivor was 8 weeks. Twenty six shirts and I've never made it to double figures! Guess I need to dig deeper into the idea mines, look for a richer seam of cotton.

With the varying tastes here, it's hard to guess whether any particular design will last long or not. Just keep at the designs and let the Wooters decide on the latter, all the while knowing that your art will now be in that many more people's closets(*).

I also had the best selling and worst selling in the reckoning recently. lol. Sometimes I think something is hysterical and nobody else does. I keep on designing and hope for the best!

Over these years, I've noticed there's no rhyme (pun intended) or reasoning behind a lot of things here; the number folks who still buy a particular design despite glaring flaws like missing legs and the number of third place derby winners that have outsold first and second are indicators enough.

That said, since "Worst Seller" includes the bystanders now, next week is your chance to gain a new record.

(For those who don't know, TJost lost two shirt.woot records this year: The "Latest derby submission to win" title to SpiritGreen's After The Party, which was submitted at T-minus 3-1/2 hours, and the "Longest consecutive run at #1" to Fishbiscuit's Procrastination University.)

There are a couple of posts that I'd wanted to respond to, but I won't have the chance tonight, so I might pull responses over into the next Reckoning thread.
