I'm deciding if I want to bother going to the casino for the New Year's Eve dinner... because at the casino the dinner may be free, but by the time I get home, it will be very costly.
It's the one night a year that the kids get to stay up as late as they want. But at 2:30 I send them to bed anyway. We'll be watching all our TiVoed episodes of How It's Made and that other show just like it.

Seriously, it's 2013, isn't it time our country be mature enough that we don't need hundreds of thousands of cold drunk snowmans gathered in a couple square block radius to celebrate the need for a new desktop calendar?
Our little town has a ball drop and ftreworks so we will take the kids there.
