love this design! its really great, would be an instant buy, but... i have one problem, Hagrid should be holding an umbrella not a wand. would definitely buy but an umbrella would make it all the more better

I'm this tee's designer - someone care to enlighten me about the issue with using a public domain photo in the creation of this design?

To be specific, to recreate the look of a psychedelic 60's gig poster I created a completely hand drawn repeating pattern (took 4 and a half hours alone)containing elements reflecting Tesla - A tesla tower, lightning bolts, transmission rays, etc - which I then merged using Linear Dodge (Add) on a slightly modified version of the photo (heavily compressed the tonal range using Levels, hand tweaked his hair, emphasised the moustace and chin and ear and changed his collar).

If all this goes against woot's rules, or *spirit*, then admins can happily remove my design from the derby, because I wouldn't want people getting all upset over my work.

The different size of the text makes it look like 2 different bands going on tour together, and if one of the bands violates the rules, the shirt should violate the rules.

There are "general rules" that are not published weekly, along with rules for the specific derby. Here is one url, I believe there are several:

Woot has a "no photo use" policy.
Also, under Plagiarism: If a shirt appears to be a direct trace of a picture found online without significant modification, then rejection is likely.
