I meant that as a reply to Kriby17 about the positioning. And truth be told, I somehow would prefer a central placement from an aesthetic point of view.

Thank you both! I've never seen The Simpsons and missed the reference entirely, but it certainly explains why the coloring and design of the donut are reminiscent of other donut designs! I've edited my original comment.

Gasp! Never seen the Simpsons? EVER?! I'm tempted to just start firing off Simpsons quotes right now... but I'll put forth every attempt to keep this thread on-topic...

I'm really loving the colors in this design. They're so rich. Nice job, Harzack!

Hey, I'm brand spanking new! It took me over a year to get the guts up to submit.

It took me forever to figure it all out causing me to submit late. Please vote for Skater's Paradise just to give a new-comer a little encouragement.

Great work everyone! Keep it up!

Good idea! His super power is only being able to see one side of an issue. I think I might know Moebius Mouse's true identity now that I think about it.

Haha, I didn't even notice that at the bottom. The fluid cousin is much better than its other cousin, Francis. That guy really needs to get a life.

This shirt blows my mind!

And I have to say that I think it's a simpler, cleaner look without the numbers. I think anyone familiar with dice-based games will still make the connection, but now anyone can appreciate (and buy!) it.

Here is an attempt on summoning an Escher piece that doesn't rely on any preestablished Escherisms...

Hope you like it!

You know, looking back at the version with numbers, I have to agree. Serendipity, I suppose.

And thanks, Expo!

No, you're right. It's a Moebius strip, but the frosting cheats and twists around to appear frosted on one "side" only. Clever, actually, if it was indeed intentional. It's almost like a Moebius strip on a Moebius strip.

Thanks... it's how Escher played with optical illusions and perspectives that made me think of combining a chess board with the cube illusion. It seemed to fit with his aesthetic really well.
