Bob Ross FTW!!

Masterpieces in 30 minutes.

heh. We just watched 3 hours of Bob Ross. But we also spent a couple of days with Tibetan monks making a mandala, praying, singing, etc.

Bob Ross was awesome! I still remember being a kid watching him paint and every once in a while I'd be thinking to myself "nope, that ones not going to work out Bob...I don't know what you're going for there" and then he'd pull out a smaller brush and transform it into something great.

No theatre or movies...tsk.

Sculptures. It is the only medium which requires destruction in order for creation. It requires the most spatial acuity out of all art forms. It is also the only one that does not allow for mistakes to be made. It is the only art form that requires perfection.

Watching someone take just a hammer and chisel to a solid block of marble and convert it into a piece of art is a very special thing to witness.

I appreciate fine arts, and create art, but I'm not really a fan of going out of my way to look at it. Do movies count?

I don't know, in art class I messed up a sculpture I was working on, and I just made everything smaller. I could have just gotten lucky that time though.

Just watching regular people dance. (Not dancing with the stars.) Especially an older couple who have been dancing for years together deserves a second look.

Live theatre. A little ridiculous that it wasn't included.

Photography or theater.

Television and film for motion, and Photography for static. Sorry, i really just have no attention span and get off track easily, I like a medium that allows me to go get a sandwich and not miss much.

Comic Books. Boom, I said it.
